Lebanon’s Crisis: Is There a Realistic Way Forward?

Resumo

In r/Lebanon, community members discuss whether a realistic path out of Lebanon’s deepening crisis is possible. The conversation addresses Hezbollah’s weapons, ongoing Israeli attacks, growing divisions between pro-peace and anti-peace Lebanese, and the lack of resources to rebuild the south.

Teb what’s the solution?

Honest question, the more I think about it, the more it appears we are doomed for a very long time with no way out. We all know there’s no way hezb will give up their weapons. Israel internal politics shows theres no sign of them slowing down or stopping and a huge animosity is growing between pro-peace and anti-peace Lebanese.
The south is gone and we don’t have money to rebuild and people are dying everyday.

It’s a horrible tragedy unfolding and I’m struggling to figure out how it can get better.

What do you think is a realistic solution?
