Wisterwild Support Update: New Pipeline for Help
Join CommunitySummary
The Wisterwild community has established a new, three-step support pipeline to manage growing community needs and prevent team burnout. This system requires users to first check the Wisdom Bank, then ask in The Village channel, and finally open a private ticket for complex issues, rather than using direct messages or tags. This change is necessary for organization, fairness in response time, and allowing the team to enjoy playing the game without constant support interruptions.
Help us keep the "Game" in Game-play! :video_game:
Hi everyone! :cherry_blossom: As our community grows, we want to make sure that Cottage Crew (Thunder, Yumi and Meg), Guardian of the Grove (Cam) and turanga can still spend time hanging out and playing the game with all of you without getting overwhelmed.
To keep things organized and ensure no one’s issues get lost in the shuffle, we need to set a firm boundary on how support is handled. The team is officially "off the clock" for support requests when we're hanging out in game or in chat channels.
Please use our Support Pipeline:
- The Wisdom Bank: Check https://discord.com/channels/1257016639401234535/1380239248640180294 first! 90% of answers live here.
- The Village: Ask in https://discord.com/channels/1257016639401234535/1438919773445558467. Our community is brilliant and usually faster than a ticket.
- The Paper Trail: If it’s private or complex, open a ticket in https://discord.com/channels/1257016639401234535/1411140177648292070
Why we do this:
- Organization: DMs and tags get buried. Tickets don't.
- Fairness: Tickets ensure we help people in the order they asked.
- Burnout Prevention: We love and adore this server! Using the system allows us to be a "player" and a friend, rather than just a 24/7 help desk.
Note: If you tag any of us for a non-emergency or try to "bypass" the system with a DM, or reply to a post to avoid the auto "do not tag" message, we will likely ignore the message or send a standard auto-reply. It’s not because we're being mean—it’s because we are protecting our peace so we can keep making this place awesome for you!
Let’s keep the vibes high and the support organized. See you in-game ❀!
