🌸✨ Sri Nityananda Trayodashi - Appearance day of Lord Nityananda Prabhu ✨🌸
🙌 Tomorrow we celebrate the divine appearance day of
Sri Nityananda Prabhu — the embodiment of mercy and compassion,
the eternal associate of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,
and the original guru who delivers fallen souls through Harinama.
📅 Occasion: Sri Nityananda Trayodashi
📿 Fast: Nirjala till 12:00 NOON
🕊️ About the Fast (Very Important):
- This is NOT Ekadashi
- Still, as per Vaishnava tradition followed by ISKCON, devotees observe
NIRJALA FAST (no food, no water)
- The fast is observed only till 12 noon, not the whole day
- After 12 noon, devotees honor prasadam with gratitude and devotion
🌼 Why We Observe This Vrat:
Sri Nityananda Prabhu is known as Patita-Pavana —
the deliverer of the most fallen.
By observing this vrata, chanting attentively, and remembering His mercy,
we pray to receive pure devotion and strength in Krishna consciousness.
📖 Recommended Devotional Activities:
- Chant extra rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra
- Hear pastimes of Sri Nityananda Prabhu
- Engage in kirtan, seva, and humble prayer
- Offer heartfelt gratitude to Guru & Vaishnavas
✨ Without the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu, one cannot approach
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Sri Sri Radha-Krishna.
🙏 Nitai Gaura Haribol!
🌸 All glories to Sri Nityananda Prabhu! 🌸
