Bulky Archaludon Rain Team Discussion

Summary

In Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments this announcement shares a bulky Archaludon rain team and asks for feedback. Topics include whether Mega Glimmora is a viable secondary mega, Pelipper moves (tailwind vs muddy water vs wide guard), best situational final teammate, and Maushold move choice. It also notes Snarl vs Draco Meteor on Archaludon and possible Venusaur mega moveset changes.

Here's my team. I have questions about what moves they should have, as well as my last team slot.

  • Is mega glimmora a bad 2nd mode mega? Its purpose is to help wallbreak sand and sun teams to let archaludon enter the final 2v2 with rain up.
  • Pelliper needs tailwind if I go mega glimmora, might drop wide guard. For now would muddy water fit my plans better than weather ball?
  • Better situational final member?
  • Maushold population bomb vs beat up?

Also as far as my choices for archaludon having snarl over draco meteor, I really wanted to make bulk work and figured dropping the enemy special attack would lean into my goals really well. Also my mega venusaur is definitely not optimal and I'm going to be seeing about changing its moves as I see my weaknesses emerge. All I know it's doing for sure right now is disrupting the enemy and covering fairy types.
As far as the stat spreads I didn't do any calculations but would appreciate any commonly known specific spreads to survive popular attacke.

Glimmora could probably be replaced with something else

cleverinbox-49

Actually nvm

If you want to wallbreak sun and sand tho, then glimmora ain't the best bcause it will just die to a earthquake, aero might be a bit better
