I can currently hunt in Scarlet, Legends ZA, and kind of in Legends Arceus(working on Shiny Charm now) for players who aren't able to hunt for themselves (ie started with Champions). This would of course be on my own time as I get availability and I'll respond as quick as possible about timelines.

in the wild. in ZA i use various reset methods to reset specific spawns and in scarlet i use rapid time resetting to reset outbreaks to increase shiny odds

On rain wait for the pelipper then go sunny day whimsicott. If they show peliper in their starting 2 hit it immediately and you can catch their arch slacking on an electro shot. If they show grim wait for the parting shot and go tailwind or you can encore the Grimm if you use encore on whimsi and force them to manually switch out the next turn and go sunny day then. I’ve been playing with delphox Staraphtor so I usually go Staraphtor into rain so they usually just open with pelipper. My goal is to always catch the arch slacking lol

honestly, short of getting supremely unlucky, most individual shinies take me no longer than an hour.

spawns are set each time you walk into zone and normal outbreaks up your odds 26x and massive mass outbreak give you like 14x odds or something

basically there’s jubilee village. to leave you go talk to a guy and he says “hey there’s outbreaks going on” and shows you the map. you choose one of the 5 zones. you pick up, each and every spawn that can happen while you’re there has already been set. so you can save before doing anything to save resources and go farm the outbreaks and if it has a shiny, great! if not you reset game and leave. next time you talk to the guy, they’re all reset

Out of curiosity why are the scarlet hints so much faster? I finally got to the end game in PLA and finishing the massive mass outbreaks questions. Odds seem good but I haven’t see a shiny in them yet. I’m thinking about getting a copy of scarlet to be able to hunt there. Just curious what the difference is
scarlet is easy to target hunt. for most mons there’s either a guaranteed spot for spawn or you can rapid reset outbreaks using the time settings. once you get the outbreak, and you have shiny charm, and you have shiny sandwich, you get a bunch of improved odds plus a method of resetting spawns with picnics
PLA is good for traversing entire zones looking through a bunch of different massive mass outbreaks, but not great for targeting specific mons
honestly, i have a couple of gholdengo hunts on their own, of which i need my coins for it. i’m sorry
this is the list. i’ve been putting most of my time into the sneaslers/spiritomb in PLA and as i get tired of it i switch to the ZA hunts for frosslass and working on being able to hunt gholdengo

it’s not too hard with MMOs. it’s the mass outbreaks that are hard, but they spawn in both icelands and highlands, whereas sneasel MMOs only spawn in highlands

yeah PLA numerically has the best shiny odds ever, just insanely difficult to target hunt due to random outbreaks and time consuming resets

going forward i might gatekeep people out of some of these hunts just cause they’ll take so much time that others will wait too long
these are the main time consuming ones honestly. sneasler is a rare massive outbreak spawn on its own, let alone the shiny rate.

Be careful of substitute fox that plays around this. I was playing sub fox and makes the gambit matchup a lot easier
Also opposing redirection against gambit will also make opposing fox matchups tough
phox MU hasn’t been difficult with chomp+meow pressure. also scarf meow basically hard counters swamp since it outspeeds+OHKOs it in rain
farig isn’t there to actually use TR, it’s there if they have TW/a lot of prio pressure
