Thought i was being slick with this: Confragigus can survive a max special attack, modest, life orb Gholdengo shadow ball with no investment into special defense, just a psychic seed. Also thought that i could negate the new megas abilities, boy how wrong I am. Salamance and Garchomp are running special moves? Anyways, I am not posting this to just complain. I need help! I think Swampert might not be the best choice and confragigus and the rest. What do you think is wrong with this team?

To be honest I have been struggling to pilot the team in general… I’ve struggled against Mega Garchomp Z, Mega Lucario Z, Mega Salamance and Mega Charizard
And by mega charizard i actually mean chlorophil venasaur
For pod mega zard is always gonna be a problem
How exactly are you struggling against the z megas
Basculegion always feels awkward to use

The whole idea around the team was to negate abilities and slow down the pace when in golisopod trickroom mode, but these megas are all running special abilities which makes playing with confragigus quite useless, it just ends up being ignored because it’s not doing that much damage anyway
Ahhhh had similar thing to happen to me tho I was running Tsareena next to it and 4 physical atrackers on the field

Other than goli, swampert and basc there’s not much offensive pressure
Most of the time they are not sharing the field
As goli wants trickroom while basc no
And swampert is another mega so not taking it with goli
It feels like i am not threatning a ko most of the time/ cant put myself in a good position most of the time
I really like cofragigus as a pokemon but maybe not the beat choice, or perhaps another moveset
B4 i was using rilaboom instead of indedee
Maybe it would work better, as it would boost the power of body press
But then again it would die to shadow ball gholdengo 1 shot

I agree that Goli swamp and basc dont work in this team together
This is rain plus trick room and a bit of tailwind
I really like the core of Golisopod and Runerigus
Think they are very good and you neutralize the opponets abilities with wandering spirit and can utilize theirs, Indeedee is good in most cases but if you think you are laking damage Rilla is a better choice than you can maybe than run ghost resist berry on rune if you think surviving Gholdengo shadow ball is key, for everything else hmmm you can consider running others in stead of Basc and Swampert primarilly Sneasler and Archaludon as Archaludon is kinda like a Mega in its own right and Sneasler with grassy seed unburden is a monster so there is that as well when you dont wanna play trick room also you can give it rock slide to ohko zard most of the time, Pelliper stays Golisopod stays and Runerigus, Iwith addition of Rillaboom instead of deedee if you think you lack damage, Sneasler for Basc as the Basc and Golisopod dont want to be in the same place together but you can use Sneasler who is faster than Basc to soften the enemies and kill the threats you wouldnt have otherwise, Bridge is there to just be your secondary trick room or tailwind win con as its broken af the only things you have to shield it is fighting types but you got Runerigus and Pelliper for that the moveset for runerigus can be changed maybe all switch instead of hex to get Sneasler to cc into it and be immune while shielding Arch. Id try this six but if you think that priority blocking is better for you keep indeedee and give Sneasler psychic seed to get Unburden and be a menace
