Lebanon’s Next Chapter: Elections, Justice & Change
Краткое содержание
In r/Lebanon, this announcement reflects on a pivotal moment in the country’s history and what may come next. It highlights judiciary appointments, the Port blast investigation, municipal and national elections, sectarian tensions, and the possibility of a second airport—issues that matter to the community’s future.
My take on the day after
With the funerals of Nasrallah and Saifeddine over, so is another chapter in Lebanon’s history. It was…Excusez mon français, really fucking shit (I mean if it was a book or a movie, it’d be a climax).
What happens now? Well, things are changing, some are gonna be bad, and a lot of the same mistakes are going to be repeated (especially in regards to elections and sectarian conflicts), but I think for the first time there are actual developments (Like Joesph Aoun telling Iran to fuck themselves in the most diplomatic way possible) and things to look forward to such as New appointments in vacancies (especially in Judiciary), Port blast investigation, Municipal elections, National Election, and…second airport??
That’s my take at least
