Restarting Life and Uni in Lebanon, rant and advice

Hello, hope all is well and everyone is safe in recent circumstances, I require a bit of assistance so I come here asking for help.

For some context, I lived my life abroad, not necessarily privileged in some aspects, learned that I need to get things on my own through my own responsibility and work, but abroad overall to give you an idea how I think, and returned to Lebanon for university in 2020.

To be precise and not too personal, I deal with quite toxic family members who aren’t exactly too keen on my personal goals or aspirations. We do not get along on philosophical, moral and financial matters, I see a pattern in this with Lebanese families as they tend to plan and take decisions for you then try convincing it is gods way or what you want.

The reason I returned was the factor that I did not want to be a burden on anyone financially, and opted for joining a university as freshman, and figuring out there’s no financial aid I applied to continue as freshman to another university that’s prestigious (I did not care about that my concern was given I have a parent that works there I can receive a tuition free education) it was only after I joined/finished the first semester that I was told I must repeat the freshman because the uni is so prestigious that they don’t consider or take into account the previous unis courses. To make the parent happy (“this is a opportunity people kill to have, people sell their soul and land to put their children here, etc.”) repeated, stayed and had to join the only major they would accept me in lived miserable for the past years.

The schedule was ridiculous, courses insignificant and no skills and was stuck in a situation where best years of my life wasted and I could not even manage to get a job to help my family’s situation, no talents or skills, no driver license due to nef3a closed, now in second semester of a masters 1 year left of it, completely useless and a bum Sharmoota in the making, it was ass to ass and plenty of depression.

I got mad and depressed left...
