Краткое содержание
FriendZone | Make Friends & Chat ⋅ Active Social Fun ⋅ Chill ⋅ VC hosts a thought-provoking discussion on the nature of morality and historical power dynamics. Members explore Nietzschean perspectives on good and evil, debating whether human history is defined by objective morality or natural cycles of domination. This announcement highlights the community's commitment to deep, intellectual discourse beyond typical social chat.
There is no good or evil in the world or in politics. Everyone has their own justifications.
When you read history, you'll find that since the dawn of civilization, human history has been a continuous struggle for many different reasons.
What?
But not every justification is right..u can randomly k1ll someone and give some random bs justification but that doesnt mean that murder is justified
The laws of universe doesn't give AF about good and evil.
It depends on how you interpret good and evil ....to some what you consider evil is good and vice versa.
What laws???
Let's begin with gravity. Does gravity care about your neighbor hating on you?
How does gravity relate to social issues.....of good and evil
You're focusing your argument on a single point of view.
How?
If you clearly see the patterns of how people operate worldwide. You'll realize being moral can't be standardized. People are motivated by different circumstances or thought process and you can't change anyone's mind.
Just be righteous but don't expect that to be a guarantee that others will be righteous towards you.
I agree with you but you went off topic...
The context is a bit too wide and complicated. Plus I don't have the right words to explain myself with. I can only summarize it as ; there's no good or evil in the world - just people's perspectives and beliefs
I was speaking from political perspective not inside society
Good and evil make the world seem like a ridiculous cartoon. They're like black and white, whereas in reality, the world is gray.
Explain more??
People always portray imperialism as evil, even though an empire is doing what is arguably the most natural thing in human history: domination
Instead of blaming themselves for their defeat and falling under another power’s dominance, they blame the empire for simply fulfilling its natural historical role
And from this perspective, you can see just how unsuccessful and inferior they are
bro has to be joking atp 😭
He means that there is no divine or absolute authority that legislates good and evil. In other words, there is no universal law that objectively defines what is evil and what is good, because these are values initially established by humans to regulate groups, and later evolved to govern entire societies. And guess what? These values have changed considerably over time.
For example, a hundred years ago, if you openly declared your homosexuality, you could potentially have been killed by ordinary people in the street. Today, however, this is almost unthinkable in some societies because people no longer perceive homosexuality as evil.
Yet, in other societies, it is still considered evil. And this is precisely what supports my argument
