We will be working on alpha testing on our new feature. We are probably 1-2 days later than expected, but mostly on track. Because it's sort of like a game bot, we are gonna work on testing in the next 2 weeks to get more user data, specifically about increasing engagement for your Discord without extra burden. We are gonna launch a alpha version live on this server in the next day or two as well!

Hey guys! Some updates from us:

We took a little detour last night when one of our members server had a huge influx of members (or potential bot raid) at about 1 new memer every 2 seconds for the entire day.. we had to significantly brushed up our infrastucture to handle the traffic.

Then we start to do a lot of forensic work on bot accounts, it's hard to find a bot if u have a new member every few seconds and the distribution is close to random. We updated our algorithem on bot detection for this particular group, but if you are facing a ton of bots at unpresdented scale, DM me so that I can figure out if we should implement it server wide.

• We will intergrate all historical member log by default. We sped up a couple back-end operations.

We are close to finish the next round of UI improvement, but we got a ton of feedback from one particular product expert on how to improve member onboarding process and help people make th best use of our analytics, so expect to see more changes when u log on to communityone.io/dashboard.

This week, we will also push out a next iteration of smart listening, where we will allow you to set up how long do u want our bot to wait before responding to members. So if your server is really small and you want our bot to respond right away, or much later (30 mins later), you can set it up yourself...

One of the big issue in any communities is to get people engaged, while web3 is special because they are incentiving users with tokens, I do see a lot of use case for a quest platform in a geniune, voluntary driven community. Update on Analytics:

We are explicitly allowing ALL servers to get historical data via a dashboard setting. While we have done this by default, a lot of time when ur server setup is not correct initially, you are not able to force a re-update. Now if you don't see historical data on your dashboard, just go to analytics and click on "load historical data".

We have further optimized on bot detection. This means that when you click "load historical data", we will automatically get your historical bot info, vs exposing this as an additional button.

We've been working quite hard, looking at different quest platforms and how they can help with Discord engagement. We are finally going to host our first official twitter space, going over some of the prons and cons of various quest platform and which one you should use for Discord.

I know a good amount of you are not in the web3 space. One of the biggest problem that communities face is the lack of mechanism to get your latest annoucement/event/gamebot being discovered. Right now, the solution is really to make annoucement. We look into some of the quest bot and have discvoered an elegant solution that requires No TOKEN, No wallet, No web3-complication. Just good old fashion useful tool for every communities to galvanize their members.

For our web3 communities out there, I know that a lot of you are concerned about bots after starting to use Zealy, we've just finished an 18-pages report (into 3 parts), going over everything that you need for Zealy. You should have got the public research note on your email.

However, it made no sense that we were giving away all of our best knwoeldges for free while there are so many of you are actively using our bot. Hence, we've launched a new tab called "resource" on the dashboard, where we will share extra tips and knolweges. For our Zealy report, you will find all the raw data about ongoing campaign, so you can check out your peer's Discord. In addition, we will share this super easy to implement strategy that will yield 12x more conversion.

Going forward, we will share our best knowledge and ideas on how to build strong communities exclusive for members (free and pro) under the "resource" tab on your dashboard

New Feature: We have just launched a new feature for Spark called **Smart Listening. **

Currently, you need to setup a channel specifically for spark to respond to. But if a user asks a question in other channels without mentioning us, there is no way for our bot to respond.

Smart listening would (1) listen to your channel, (2) detect questions and (3) only answers when there is no moderators responding (10 mins countdown).

We will open up Smart Listening as a beta feature and allow you to try it for free. To start, just go to our Dashboard: https://communityone.io/dashboard and then setup on Spark.

Other small changes: we are changing UX about permisison setting for bots. More details to come!

This is going to be a superior experience vs setting up via command line. We've also added some new features, such as allowing you to upload multiple doc (2 free) to spark. You will able to be able to add, edit and remove your documents.

One additional AI feature for Spark is called ifXdoY. This tells spark to detect user intention and drive a certain actions.

hey everyone! Update for this week. We are pushing out v2 of the dashboard with Spark intergration this week. You will now be able to configure Spark setting directly on https://communityone.io/dashboard

The biggest change is file management. We will allow you to update 2+ .txt docoument to Spark in the deployment setting. Most importantly, you no longer need to go look for the file anymore. You can edit and resubmmit the file directly from the portal.

Otherwise, we will start working on changing our website to reflect AI CM and intergrate all of our features into a cohorent page.

As some of our OG members recall, we actually start out in the web3 space. Web3 communities have the most needs for discord and there were simply no modern solutions to help manage communities. A part of the focus this year is to reach out to more gaming and NFT projects, educating founders the right way to start building (vs past time rug-pulling).

On some personal notes, I am moving closer to the rest of the team in Mexico City. Remote working is cool but nothing beats coming up with new ideas when team chitchat. This also means that our product and tech will work closer together and our timeline for deliverable will be shorter overtime.

Finally, we are working on more intergration with spark and dashboard, especially around allowing you to add, remove and manage mulitple txt doc on the spark side.

We have a minor delay on our current sprint, but the next major feature will be around Smart listening for spark per requested by some of our users.

A bit update from us:

Still working on our dashboard, resolved a couple technical issues and wil continue to make progress. Once the dashboard is finished, we will continue add features to allow members for customizations.

Our bot now support UTF-8 and UTF-SIG. Minor changes for those who use a mac. We've also disallowed our bots from mentioning everyone unintentionally (people love to hack our bots!)

We've talked to many of our users behind the scene and one reason that people use our bot is that it is more friendly. For this, we want to improve the way Spark interacts with members. Specifically, there are a couple issue that we want to tackle in the next 3 weeks:

• More human like:
• Reduce instances where the bot says "I am AI model that has no emotions" or "How may I assist you today".
• Message should be concise, like a real human chatting.
• When people are mean, our bot should have the ability to counter in a funny way. For example, if someone goes, "You are stupid". Our bot current response is "I am AI model etc"
• Less hallucination, especially when user is asking our bot for specific action, such as creating a new bot command.
• Detect emotion: We notice that sometimes members seek help from our bot. While our bot is not designed for emotional support, we can do better at detecting and also actively reaching out to users if they need some emotional support. Of course, the moderators and the other human community member can take over in such cases.

We have complied a list of sample input and output to measure our performance, but we are launching a google form: https://forms.gle/XN1teeDHZp9u26Rv7 and feel free to submit any bot response instances that you think fit into any of these criterion.
