The server is going to be on lockdown for a day.

Just a heads up that I've paused server invites for 24 hours, meaning within that time nobody new can join. This is due to the 4+ people who have joined this server to solely send a scam, or to spam bot commands in all the wrong channels.

The reason I've left #╰˚⋆questions open to @Unverified is if for if anyone needs help through the verification process, or how to initiate it. I'm trying to be kind here, which is why I haven't yet revoked permissions.

But of course some might just ruin it for everyone. I don't mean to be that person, but if I get ONE MORE person joining just to spam/scam I will revoke any and all permissions @Unverified has, and only have #╭˚࿔⋆˚rules and #˚࿔⋆˚verify as the viewable channels.

I know you lot, the loyal server members, can't do anything. This is simply a heads up, also to anyone who might join. This is going to be the first announcement for a while.

This is also coming from someone who has received the scam mentioned first. Don't mess with these guys and, as @MaeMae said a few years ago, you don't know what they can get access to when you do. IF you want to troll them, make sure you know what you're doing and be careful. Don't give out any personal information, and if you do, make sure it's fake.

I just wanted to let you all know that there is a Discord report scam going around. Many have fallen victim to it, losing their accounts and/or money.

To recap, one of your friends (that account probably being hacked) dm you, saying that they accidentally reported your account. They tell you to talk to some Discord Assistant. That hacker is posing to be a Discord staff member. They tell you that someone reported your account, which will lead to an IP ban. That is unless you give them 300 dollars. At one point, they may even ask for your password.

As Discord states, a moderator will never ask for your account password, or even money to not get banned. After all, that's probably illegal. If someone does, that's an immediate sign of a scam. That's when you should ignore them and not respond. The way they talk in their messages may sound persuasive or real, though it isn't!

With that said, I beg of all of you to stay safe on Discord. Try to use your common sense and logic when getting these types of messages, and look out for yourselves and others. Just chat with your close friends, or on trusted servers.

Dear members of this unfinished server,

This server recently got- what? Raided? Purged? Yea. By three people, I believe, in which you could see in the #˚࿔⋆˚goodbyes (last 3 people: @zvuwy, @xonsk, @thadmae). It honestly really hurt to know that some of the friends I used to know IRL have turned out to be these...toxic and offensive people. Where'd they screw up, man? They called me specifically a bitch, spammed offensive swear words and were honestly pretty toxic.

With that said, I just wanted to state that there are indeed consequences for every action. Each has different consequences, which could be a time-out, ban, or something in between.

Furthermore, if anyone decides to pull this stunt again, it won't be taken lightly. I won't hesitate to give them a 1-week timeout and report, and ban if things escalate. Though, I really hope y'all are mature enough to know that what they did wasn't right. Spamming offensive swear words, including racist ones, and other stuff. While also spamming @[everyone], which gets annoying.

Therefore, what to make of this announcement is:
Stay friendly in this here server, remain thoughtful, be kind. Don't spam in non-spam channels and keep things organized, calm and friendly. Don't spam offensive items. As known already, this is supposed to be a friendly and supportive environment, not some battlefield of insults and offense. The latter does not form a community, anyway.
