Modded Server Upgrade Needed — Crossplay Move
Summary
Besties Community announces our modded Minecraft server is too heavy for current hosting and requires an upgrade funded by more Discord boosts. The world is backed up and members can choose to keep it or start fresh. While we move to a boost-hosted paid server, use the Essential mod to host a temporary local server for up to 8 friends. We welcome offers of help before the transfer.
@MINECRAFT
Quick update on our modded server.
The modpack is too heavy for our current server setup. Exploring, which is what the modpack is all about- keeps crashing the game. The only way to keep our modded server crash-free is to upgrade to a bigger hosting plan. This means more server boosts are required to fund the upgrade.
To give you smooth, lag-free performance no matter where you go, we will be moving the crossplay server over to our paid, discord boost-hosted server.
What happens to our current world?
I have the world safely saved in a backup folder. Let me know if you want to keep this world or start fresh on the new host!
How can we play in the meantime?
We have the Essential mod in the modpack at default, which lets you host a local server directly inside your singleplayer world with up to 8 friends! This will be our temporary solution while the main server is being sorted out. Sorry that i am having technical issues on finding a good hosting service with my budget.
i will give this notice a few hours incase anyone is offering help before i make the big transfer.
once again sorry for the inconvienence
