their definition is not really right, bi is someone who likes 2 or more genders, overall all pansexual people are bisexual by definition, and most people just pick whatever pride flag they prefer and go with it, but more people understand what you mean by "bisexual" so imo its usually preferable

it used to be because when the term was created the idea of 3 genders wasnt widespread enough so thats why it got named "BIsexual" but nowadays the recognised definition is "2 or more"
