So I like identifying as a femboy. In fact, it is one of the only “boyish” terms I use for myself outside of twink sometimes. I myself, identify as non-binary. I also have chosen to have a girly name, and sometimes have gender dysphoria and will wear breast forms.
Now, I DO NOT identify as a girl. I tried for a while, did not work. I am just non-binary person, with girly name. Can I still identify as a femboy?
You can Identify as whatever you want, no one can tell you that you are wrong.

if you are fine with both terms ALWAYS that usually indicate bigender, not genderfluid
genderfluid is when your identity(NOT PRESENTATION) fluctuates, so some days you may prefer for others to call you a boy and others a girl
Idk man i usually just go with non binary bc when I try and think about it I start getting actual headaches. I tend to lean away from masculinity and with closer friends I’m fine with getting called he/him, but prefer using They/Them in general and with people i don’t consider close friends. I have never been truly okay with being called a girl (mainly childhood trauma but i digress), but I also have really bad gender dysphoria where I REALLY wish I was a girl and have chosen a girly name and blah blah blah. The main question i guess is could a Nonbinary person identify as a femboy

non binary is a huge umbrella term
a lot of non binary people identify as boys, these imo can
but i dont think someone who completely rejects the lable of "boy" can realistically be called a "feminine boy"

I believe I have figured it out. I feel closer to boy than girl, i dont ever really feel like a girl, i usually just wish i was born one. I am now deciding to think of a new name. Holy crap my brain hurts
btw wishing to be born a gender other than your own does not make you said gender, by that logic almost every woman in the middle east would be a trans guy lmao
it matters why you wish it, detached from gender expectations and norms would you still wanna be a girl? If nobody would give you shit for what you wanna do.
Well yeah, but I have actually talked a lot about these feelings with my therapist. Even without the gender expectations and stuff, I would still want to be a girl. It’s more of wishing my body was a girl’s, not the social aspect of it
I’m still kinda just exploring who I wanna be and I’ma just bring this up with my therapist when I see them next
