so i came out to my mum about being trans and she said that i should wait till im atleast 18 to decide it.... in a discord server im in like every trans person says you will regret not starting hrt like in your early teens so how do i play this out? should i just go up to my mum and be all like "uh im trans and theres nothing you can do about itttt" or some cringe thingy like that
idk what im doing bro... im lost and depressed
legally theres nothing you can do about HRT if you live in the US
I would say get a job as early as you can and buy Estrogen off the internet but that is risky with a lot of health risks. Realistically by 15, you will have gone through a lot of the changes that Estrogen would have prevented but there is still some it would stop.
Personally I understand not wanting to wait, do what you can, but know that it may take you bending the rules to get what you want. Just stay safe!

i am unsure about their laws regarding HRT but its likely similar requiring parental approval
so you can either brute force it and demand your mom to do it (probably wont work)
or you get a job and buy it yourself
im lowkey scared of my parents thats why i dont really like want to talk about this to them...
im sorry to hear that, do what you need to do to get the treatment you need
its scary but is it worse than going through male changes to the body?

i did have a job until my boss stopped giving me any shifts. like i got 520 on my card cause yeah i havent spent like anything since i stopped getting shifts
idk about the prices of estrogen there, but 520 would get you maybe a month of estrogen here
job is basically required if your parents wont support, so might have to try and get a new one
17 bucks a day is crazy (520 divided by 31 is just under 17 so yk)

i was in 4th when covid hit
the thing i was most exited about for high school was algebra
or maybe they excel in other parts of education
and im really good at it
only the PE part of HPE
i excel in US history and typically do well in English
those are my two strongest classes
im really bad at english and im decent at history
ofc rn im taking a law enforcement class
