Ever want to get the NCR Veteran Ranger combat armor? (Seen below)
Complete quests for the NCR until you gain the reputation of "Liked" by them, I did this by completing the hoover dam quests. Once you have the reputation head just south of New Vegas to the NCR camp positioned there
Speak to the colonel and complete his quests (he may just give you the keys) once you complete his quests he'll give you keys to the ranger safehouse and the location of it (northeast of Novac) go inside and the first door to the right will have the armor on a shelf, it'll be in pour condition so you'll have to either repair it yourself or find someone to repair it for a pretty penny.
