Performance Update - Nov 14 2025

Summary

ToyBattles - Free To Play announces a performance update addressing black screen issues and Missing AVA_ errors. The patch reduces filesizes for thousands of textures across model.dat, weapon.dat, ui.dat, map.dat, and trims font.dat and fx.dat. It also fixes faulty textures on Purple Robot Suit Pink Robot Suit and Microbolter Robot suits. Players are encouraged to open a bug tracker if issues persist.

These changes look to help solve issues regarding UI, Map or weapons giving players a black screen after playing for a while. In addition these fixes should solve a large majority of errors such as "Missing AVA_" errors.

  • Reduced filesizes for ~4000 of textures in model.dat
  • Reduced filesizes for ~1000 of textures in weapon.dat
  • Reduced filesizes for ~200 of textures in ui.dat
  • Reduced filesizes for dozens of textures in map.dat
  • Reduced filesize of font.dat

  • Reduces filesize of fx.dat

  • Fixed an issue causing Purple Robot Suit, Pink Robot Suit and Microbolter Robot suits to have faulty textures.
