Now that the server has a proper and new foundation created, my @𝔏𝔢𝔞𝔡 𝔄𝔡𝔪𝔦𝔫 and myself require more assistance for the server. If you've been here for a while you know that we both have managed the server alone, I'm hoping with more of you here, some of you may be interested in helping improve the server. Hello @Patrons / , I apologize for the inactivity, and the lack of effort I've put into this server. Life be lifing a little too hard recently. I will be working alongside with @Vani to rework the server. We thought the minor changes we've done so far would boost activity and for new members to join and stay, but it has not worked out. So we will be gradually changing the server, it's banners, icons, emotes, creating a mascot for the server, completely rebranding, and renaming the server.

We will be optimizing the server to better fit the gaming agenda for those of you who are still here and for newer members. If you have any suggestions for the server do not feel afraid to put them in the #💡「suggestions」 channel. We take any suggestions to consideration. ❤️

Changes won't be immediately, they will happen gradually, we will make another announcement to keep you all updated.

Announcement Alert, Very Important

I will be working on the server once again and there are some changes I want to suggest to you all, we're hoping to get this server more active and would like some input from our community. We'll be making changes as we go, if you like the suggestions just vote within the Poll below this announcement, or suggest your own in #channel. We're hoping to keep this community alive and while everyone is busy, I do want to see some activity within the server, so I need YOUR help with learning how to improve what we're lacking to keep you active.

Current Suggestions Brainstorm

I'd like to add adult categories or a possible bot category to screw around with bots you all can interact with. If the adult category is implemented into the server, we'd most likely do age verification with everyone for safety reasons, if we go with the bot route what bots would you want within the server??? Give us the deets.

I appreciate all of you for still being in here, even while it's at it's most inactive state, hopefully we can change that.

Server Rework

Good evening everyone! I'm very excited to share that the server has been completely rebranded to a gaming server called; Gaming Plaza.

Our rules have been modified and updated for simple reading purposes and refining. Please make sure to stop by and update yourselves on the rules, you are solely responsible for your actions within the server!

Final Changes

Good evening everyone. The poll has drawn to a close, all votes are final!
The server will begin starting today, to transition into a general gaming server. I will shift the focus from Apex to all genres of games. I apologize to those who may have wanted to keep the server as is, but the vote for change overweighed for no change.

I'd also like to apologize for the spam earlier, the user has been dealt with, and with that being said further safety measures will be applied to ALL CHANNELS. If your messages get flagged for any reason please submit a help ticket in our support channel!

Firstly, I'm very grateful for all of you who have stuck with this server for this long. I understand it's been a bit inactive but hopefully we can change that with each step we attempt to take to improve the server and comfort of our community.

With that being said. I am offering a Community Vote.
I've come to realize Apex Legends is a very small and specific genre to focus on for a server. SO. I'm leaving the option up to you guys what direction this server should take.

Do you think we should rebrand the server and turn Apex Plaza into a General Gaming server?

Questions You May Have:

What does that mean for the server?
- It means we would rebrand, change, and rework the server from the ground up. We will be turning our focus into all gaming genres instead of just Apex Legends.

What would change if everyone votes yes?
- Roles and Channels mostly. We would delete majority of Apex specific channels and roles. In turn we would replace them for other roles and channels you can access.

What would happen if everyone votes no?
- Nothing would change.

Why is this being discussed/voted on?
- As all of you know we lack activity, which is very crucial for a server to survive and succeed, so this is usually our priority along with keeping our members feel safe and welcomed.
- We have been informed that we are on the road for discoverability. What does that mean? That means if we acquire the qualifications Discord wants, this server can become more accessible to users on Discord. Which means more traffic into the server, more users, more activity, and much more goals for the future.

I'm here to let everyone know I've done an overhaul on the server.
To those of you who recently joined, welcome fresh faces. I hope you enjoy the server so far and continue to stay here with us.

New Channel Look

Channels have been reworked, such as style fonts, and category layouts.
Some channels that were not being used frequently have been removed.

New Channels:

• 🎂「birthdays」 You can now set your birthdays and let everyone know when your special day is.

• channel When you are inactive in a Voice Channel, you will now be moved here.

• 「🔌」self-promo All self-promotions go here, you no longer need a role to promote your social media. You will only be allowed to share content related to Apex Legends.

• 🏅「achievements」 You can now earn default achievements. There will be custom made achievements in the near future.

New Changes

There have only been a few changes but some additions including roles have been reworked and new roles have been added.

• channel Has been completely reworked. Grab your roles if you haven't already!

Leveling and Economy Upgrade

We have had an upgrade on our leveling system and economy. There are now more items in our new server shop (/item store), you can now earn roles, collectibles, and more via server xp/currency.
- Leveling is through @ProBot ✨ .
- Server shop is through @UnbelievaBoat .
- Max Level is 100, this may increase in the future.
- Server shop may update with new items.

• Some of the new features may be broken, if you experience any issues please let staff know.

Invites have been unpaused, security for the server has been changed to higher priority. All users trying to join will have to undergo heavy requirements before joining.

If you are being harassed or notice any rule breaking, report it to us immediately, it takes one click of a button to create a Ticket.

We also highly suggest to take precautions when talking to randoms online, be mindful you don't know who these people are and it is not worth the risk. Look into resources online for further assistance on harassment and cyberbullying.

Hopefully now that things are simmered, I am making an official announcement from this moment forward. This is to be taken seriously, any indication of horseplay or signs of this issue arising, upon review from staff, members will be warned once and removed second.

The staff and Owner of Apex Plaza does not condone any drama, hate speech, poor sport behavior, nor any name calling. This is a server dedicated to find your teammates, have fun, play competitively, or to just chat with others. If you can't be respectful, civil, and learn to agree to disagree, this server is not for you and we have no issue to remove you.

If you have an issue with another user:

• REPORT THEM TO US. We do not accept formal complaints (e.g., VC, DM), report them to the appropriate channel via #❔「contact-staff」
• Beef out issues in DMS, we don't want drama nor problems in the server.
• Block or Ignore them. The feature is a thing for a reason.
• Do not spam ping other members to invoke your case. It's in the rules to not spam mention other members.

Rules are still rules, NO ONE is an exception from them.
If staff give you a verbal and actual warning, cease and dismiss the conversation or actions you are doing to get warned.

Our Ladder System

Once again we have a ladder system, these are the steps we take for infractions or problems. Once you've been warned verbally twice, you get 3 strikes for an actual warning, last resort is Mute, Kick, or Ban, depending on your actions.

Our Steps
Give a verbal warning, the limit is 2.
↓
Give an actual warning, the limit is 3.
↓
Mute the user; minimum: 5min , maximum: 5hrs.
[Deafen if in Voice channels]
↓ OR
Kick the user.
↓ OR
Ban the user, maximum: 1 day.

Just a personal reminder, this is my server, if I feel you are a threat to the server, I will remove you myself, no warnings, no nothing.

GAME NIGHT

Game night has been chosen for yesterdays poll, we're asking you guys what day and time would benefit you guys most for participation reasons. The poll will be available for 24 hours, once it has the most votes, that's what we'll settle with.

Once we have the information we need we'll be be creating an event listing so you guys can interact with and register your participation.
