New Features

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well this morning, I have a few features that have been added into the discord to boost engagement and fun! Please keep in mind these features will be removed if you abuse or misuse them.

I wanted to firstly tell you that the #🚫💬honeypot💬🚫 channel is to not be used or chat in, @THE RIFT bot is programmed to kick anyone who chats in this channel. This is to get rid of the infestation of bots we've had and to test if this works.

🎮 Game Features

New games you can play with other members.

Use these commands responsibly and only in the #「🤖」bot-channel !

/connect4 - Connect 4 game.
/memory - Memory card game.
/othello - Othello game.
/chess play - Play chess with someone.
/rps-duel - Rock, paper, scissors' game.

🔊 Voice XP

I have added a new XP feature! This is to help those of you who do not chat in here frequently, you will now be able to gain XP while being in a voice channel. If you want to see how long you or someone else has spent in VC you can use this command: /voicetime

🆘 New Reporting Features

/report - Users can now report quickly to staff in case there is an issue instead of opening a ticket. This is to be used ONLY for quick replies or reports by users who don't want to go through the ticket system, along with clogging up our audit/logging channels.

If there is an issue or report you need to make that involves screenshots, documents, or further evidence formats please still use the ticket support system in: #❔「contact-staff」

Staff/Event Features

The following features will be used by staff only, to better navigate and manage future events of the server.

/setup-recap - Fun activity to show a weekly recap of who sent the most messages in the server. [setup for every Friday]
/waitlist - Queue system for events or Apex customs. [staff only]

Don't Forget

I'd also like to remind you all there is current features that have not yet been used to it's full capacity!
For example:

「🛒」server-shop - You can gain unique roles with our server currency! [ Rift Coins]

🔮「rift-benefits」 - Exclusive benefits for YOU when you pay a Sub or Boost the server!

Various bot channels: #「🤖」pokemeow , #「🤖」mudae , and the #「🤖」wordle.

I have been working on guides to help you all but haven't had a lot of time to post them, so keep your peepers out for the announcement, all Guides on how to navigate through the server will be in #🔖「server-guides」 channel.

• If you need any help or have any questions do not hesitate to ask me!

Monthly Purges

The purge is over. You can relax now.

Alrighty everyone, staff an I will begin a monthly purge moving forward to remove inactive members. You must chat and show activity while being in this server, being inactive for long periods of time can hinder the server's activity and chances to progress and gain more members. Starting today, every 1st of the month will be a monthly purge/prune.

I am going to give you all some leeway, cause I have noticed some of you are not even Level 5, which you can level up if you chat in the server. If you spam you will be kicked so don't try me.

You will have 14 days from TODAY to reach @『 Level 5 』Newblood

Appreciate you all who have been active or trying to be, you are my favorites.

I have scheduled an event for Sunday 8:30PM EST. The game is Jackbox Party Pack 11, you do not need the game to participate, only the host does (aka me). It will take place in the #「🎉」EVENT VC. I wanted to boost engagement and take a break from Apex and thought this would be a good idea for the server.

Please welcome our newest staff members on their promotion to @HELPER.
@Bentayga ୨ৎ , @KΛGΣ , and @Nuresca. Congratulations you lovely people.

New Monthly Event: CHAMPIONS

HELLO @LEGENDS ! I apologize for the mass ping in advance.
I have come up with a monthly activity for the server, the idea is to propose a "MOTM" (Member Of The Month) event. Where you all will vote for 3 members within this server for the month and they will be labeled as the CHAMPIONS of the server!

This event is to promote engagement and appreciation for members of the server of your choosing.

How does it work?

All you have to do is submit a ticket vote to staff via #🏆「champion-vote」
You just submit the name of the 3 users you can think of that you want to be mentioned, once all votes have been accounted for and added up, the 3 most chosen Legends will be given the @CHAMPIONS role for an entire month, until the next Champions have been chosen.

When the Champions have been chosen and given their roles they will be permenantly stamped in our little hall of fame in #🏆「our-champions」 channel!

READ BEFORE VOTING:

• ALL votes must be submitted on the last week of the month!
• You cannot nominate yourself.
• Only choose members you think are deserving!
• When voting submit only 3 candidates.

Minor Staff and Server Update

@Announcements
Hello Legends, I hope you all are having a good day. I wanted to remind you all that both Admin and Mod applications are still open and if you are interested you may still apply. Applications will officially close at the end of this month. You can review this previous announcement for the links: https://discord.com/channels/1295465511949438986/1295468757086502983/1512251701053231196

To follow up as well, please congratulate @⋆˚࿔ chloe 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ and @inyovrhead in their promotion from Helpers to @𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣 !!

THANK YOU ALL

I wanted to add a small appreciation post as well. Thank you @𝖧𝖺𝗋𝖻𝗂𝗇𝗀𝖾𝗋's for the boosts to the server as of late, the server will have some cooler edits, benefits, and some roles might look cooler thanks to you.

I appreciate it so much. May both sides of your pillow be cold, your day is better, and you get a ton of RP/Wins!!

Friendly Reminder

@Announcements
Please keep all topics in the rightful channels!! I've noticed a few topics being brought up in the wrong channels for a handful of days now and just wanted to remind you all so new and current users don't get confused! I appreciate it. Anything in the Apex Category must be Apex related, since the server has taken a shift to focus on Apex Legends content, all general gaming content must be discussed in the Community section, and vice versa. Read channel descriptions if you are uncertain or the pinned messages (if there are any) for further information. Thank you! ❤️

• P.S. I also wanted to thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday!
