Hello .

We want to quickly acknowledge a few things that have been brought up recently regarding the server economy and boss areas.

We know there have been concerns about the economy. Some activities have been making players a lot of money, while others felt less worth doing. Balancing a server economy is one of the hardest things to get right, especially with the amount of content we have on the server.

As a first step, we have already changed the selling price of all guns starting from Tier 3 and higher from 50% to 75% of their purchase value. This should make selling your current gun to upgrade to a higher tier feel less frustrating, as you now lose less money when trading up.

We are still looking into other parts of the economy as well. Some activities that are being farmed nonstop may need to be adjusted, while other ways of making money such as collectables, mining, drugs, and similar systems may be improved. The goal is to create more variety, so players do not feel forced to farm the same content over and over again.

We are also looking into ways to make certain items more valuable if players hold onto them and sell them at the right time. This should add a bit more strategy and give players more options when it comes to earning money.

Another thing we want to address is boss areas.

We have seen more and more players almost “setting up camp” in areas where bosses can spawn. This is not how these areas are intended to be played. Waiting in the same area for a boss to respawn over and over again is basically exploiting the respawn timer, and it makes it unfair for other players who also want a chance to do that content.

Because of this, time-limited areas have now been implemented. Players can only stay in certain areas for a limited amount of time before being teleported out. This system is still a work in progress, and we will continue adjusting it to make sure players are given enough time to properly complete the content.

We know not everything is perfect yet, but we are aware of the issues and actively working on improving them.

All updates and changes will be listed in #🌀┃changelogs so keep an eye out on that part to get additional information.

Small update regarding the vehicle disappearing issue from Virtual Garage.

We found the cause: an old garage system was still active in the modpack and had auto-parking enabled. This could cause vehicles to be automatically stored again after players pulled them out, making it look like the vehicle despawned.

Auto-parking has now been disabled.

A temporary garage has been placed at Asheville Trader so players can retrieve any vehicles still stored in the old system.

Nothing has been lost from your vehicles. Any items that were inside your vehicles should still be stored inside them when you retrieve them.

Please make sure to collect anything you still have in the old garage system before next weekend.

DO NOT STORE ANYTHING IN THIS GARAGE!!
After next weekend, this garage system will be removed from the server completely and we will continue using only the LBmaster Virtual Garage.

Thanks for the patience while we tracked this down.

@UDZ Economy changes for next restart in 45 minutes:

After noticing the grind is to hard, and making money is harder than expected (Thanks for those who send something in #❓┃suggestions ❤️ ).
The following changes:
- Changed pricing on guns and magazines (See #🔫┃weapons for before and after pricing).
- Increased payouts on killing of creatures by 20% (all skins you sell still have same profit as before).
Changes are applied upon next restart.

If there are more required changes i will implement them, but bit by bit.
Economy is 1 if not the hardest part to balance a server on...

Hello

I've seen some issue's on the server of players not seeing correct item slots on armors.
Please do the following:
Start DayZ vanilla launcher.
Go to Mods.
Search for "UDZ"
Right click the UDZ mods and hit "Repair".
Do this for the following UDZ mods:
- UDZ_ServerPack
- UDZ_Greys
- UDZ_YRTSK
- UDZ_Meru
- UDZ_HM
- UDZ_LS

For now this restart the following changes:
- Increased slots to 60.
- Fixed trader safe zone's.
- Disabled crafting of any fishing hooks.
- Added a bunch of fishing hooks to the map (up to 360 can spawn combined of all).
- Increased fishing prices (Raw fish +25% & Meat +50%).
- Fixed some gun issues with magazines.

Updated modpack:
UDZ_Greys.

As server progresses i will monitor for more issue's and fix them as fast as i possibly can 🙂

After a lot of work behind the scenes, the DayZ server will officially re-open tonight at:

This update brings some big gameplay changes and reworks:

💰 Reworked economy mechanics.

Expect a fresh feeling, more challenging progression, and a lot of changes to discover in-game.

All donation Armor & Weapon Tiers stay the same, first 12 hours we will not be giving out items to donators to monitor and help other players with potential bugs where needed.

Hello all,

Some updates for upcoming wipe:

Server will go offline Thursday morning EU time (not sure exactly what time).
And is planned to go back online Friday Evening.

Some changes for now untill wipe happens:
- You can now buy a reload case in the Tools trader that can refill magazines without the need of ammunition. You can also attach it to a player slot!
- All keycards & license's can be purchased at both trader black market traders!
- A new script (in testing phase) that pays out coins when you kill a creature. For example a Dark head sells for 5000, this script will add 5000 to your player inventory. Also you can still sell the head for an additional 5000$.
- Paycheck is now 1 million every 15 minutes.
- ALL rules regarding maximum runs on special area's can be ignored, you can run any event or area as often as you want untill wipe!

More stuff is due for changes, but will be adjusted upon wipe!

Hello ,

Some of you may have already seen it already, but DayZ is releasing update 1.29 tomorrow.

DayZ is recommending a FULL wipe, but my goal is to postpone that by roughly 2 weeks if possible.

Starting from tomorrow’s 6:00 AM restart (GMT+2 / EU Summer Time) April 08, 2025 04:00 AM, I will be locking the server and taking it offline.

Once the update is live, I’ll do my best to assess what has broken, what still works, and what can be salvaged after this major DayZ update.

If all goes well, the server may only be offline for about a day. However, I expect it could take longer, as many mod creators will first need to update their mods as well.

If things do not go well and I’m forced to wipe, then the plan will be the following:

Once the server is stable on update 1.29, it will go live again in a temporary “Fun Mode.” During that period, players will be free to explore and enjoy whatever they want.

Right now, I’m aiming for a FULL wipe on April 23rd or 24th, together with the larger updates and changes.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but DayZ does what DayZ wants, and all I can do is try to make the situation as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

My hands are fairly tied while I’m here in the States instead of back home in the Netherlands, so I appreciate your patience and understanding.

The server is back up.

I tried to do more than just the stuff I posted in #🌀┃changelogs , but a bunch of things went wrong on the test server and it turned into a pretty big mess. After troubleshooting, I ended up reverting some of the changes back to pre-update to keep everything stable.

That’s also why it took so long to get the server online again — but the work is done now and the server is ONLINE ✅

Also, most of you probably already know this: tomorrow morning (early) I’m leaving home for 7 weeks for a work training.

During those 7 weeks, the server will likely see little to no updates, unless something truly game-breaking happens. I’ll do what I can when I’m able, but I can’t promise quick fixes while I’m away.

One more important note:

DayZ 1.29 just hit Experimental, and the stable update is expected in roughly 4–6 weeks.
If DayZ pushes that update while I’m not home, the server may go offline until further notice while we:
- see what DayZ broke,
- and give modders time to push fixes/updates.

Worst case: a wipe might be needed — which could end up happening pretty close to the wipe I already had planned (mid-April-ish).

📢 IMPORTANT: Items Disappearing? DO THIS EXACTLY (Logging Procedure)

We’re investigating rare cases where items can disappear from inventories (often from vests).
If it happens to you, we need a perfect log timestamp so we can match it to server logs.
We have changed some settings that could potentially cause this issue, sadly this glitch is almost not re-producable to test..
The best way to really acquire the needed information is open the server and do all the following below:

❗❗ IF YOU SEE ITEMS DISAPPEARING:❗❗

STEP 1 — MAKE SURE YOU ARE RECORDING!
EVERYONE SHOULD BE RECORDING AT ALL TIMES.
Use NVIDIA ShadowPlay / AMD ReLive / Medal / OBS (anything).
If you don’t record, we may not be able to prove what happened and get your items back.

• STEP-BY-STEP (DO THIS IN ORDER)
  1) STOP TOUCHING YOUR INVENTORY
  The moment you notice items disappearing:
  STOP moving items
  STOP swapping vests/backpacks
  STOP opening barrels / garage / trader
• Just freeze and go to Step 2.

2) TAB OUT INSTANTLY + OPEN A TICKET
Alt-Tab out of the game
Open a ticket in Discord immediately

3) WAIT UNTIL THE TICKET CHANNEL APPEARS
Discord will create a channel like:
ticket-1234

4) GO BACK IN-GAME AND POST ONLY THIS IN GLOBAL CHAT
As soon as you see your ticket channel name, go back to the game and post ONLY this in GLOBAL CHAT:
ticket-1234
(Use your own ticket channel name.)

5) NOW GO BACK TO YOUR TICKET AND TYPE THE DETAILS
In your ticket, include:
Your in-game name
What disappeared (example: “ammo + meds from vest”)
What you were doing right before it started (garage / barrel / trader / vehicle / relog)
The time it happened (your local time + your region/country, because time zones differ)
Clip/video if you have it (HIGHLY preferred — otherwise we may not be able to help you)

Don’t relog right away
Don’t keep dragging items
Don’t “test it more”
That can destroy the evidence and makes it harder to track.

I hope i've got it fixed, but sadly i cannot guarantee this yet...

Hello from Ultimate DayZ PVE,

I wanted to give you all an update on the current situation. Unfortunately, I’ve been sick in bed for the past two days and have not been able to work on the server as planned.

The dedicated machine the server runs on will expire this upcoming Monday, as we are moving to a new hosting box. My original plan was to switch over this weekend and schedule the wipe for next weekend to test performance. Due to being ill, I’m unable to prepare everything in time, so I will be taking the server offline tomorrow at 20:00 EU time (in about 26 hours) to begin the transfer to push the server back up next weekend.

During the move, there will be a full wipe.

I know this is short notice and I apologize for the inconvenience.

As a gesture of appreciation:

Anyone who has donated in the past 2 weeks, or donates during December, will receive a free upgrade to the next tier (valid for 1 year or 3 wipes, whichever comes first).

Anyone who donated a Tier 5 will receive a weapon upgrade from T5 to T7.
