Donation Policy Update — Mystery Institution
Summary
Mystery Institution | Lotus Pictures announces a donations policy focusing donations for dev team income and cosmetic, non-balance extras. The update emphasizes player achievement over paid advantages and gives an example of harmless additions like deep sea bunnies. This helps preserve fair gameplay while allowing fun optional purchases for the community.
Hello everyone!
I don't know why I'm writing this here, but I just wanted to point out one thing. Regarding donations. I've long been bothered by how many Roblox games, and games in general, have forced people to pay something too many times. Like games from Sonar Studios or Pet Simulator. And it's also worth mentioning TONS of Poppy Playtime merch. It's all annoying. Personally, I would keep some donations in MI only for devs in team income and for myself. But I'd like people to achieve things in MI through their own efforts, not through donations. If donations are used, they'll add things that don't affect game's balance but are still cool. Good example, in my opinion, is deep sea bunnies in Pressure (by Urbanshade). They don't change gameplay, but they're a cool addition you can play with and have fun with (and hit your friends with it). So, that's it. Thanks for reading!
