Security Alert: Possible Social Media Cyberattack

@Students @School Staff @Everyone
Dunno if it's true, just got randomly pinged for this

Discord just made an announcement: It's bad news. There's a possibility of a cyberattack tomorrow or tonight across all social media platforms, including Discord. People will try to send you violent images, racist slurs, and obscene photos. There will also be IP thieves, hackers, and people who will leak personal information. I recommend not accepting friend requests from strangers and staying alert. Share this message with other servers or communities where you have admin or owner privileges, and use mentions to spread the warning. I hope everyone stays safe. Also, make sure you're offline tomorrow or tonight, as this will reduce the risk. If possible, forward this message to your friends so it spreads faster. Again: stay alert. Whether this is true or not, the important thing is that everyone is aware of this sensitive issue. Shared by a moderator in case of emergency. If you have servers, please feel free to share this information. It could be a false alarm, but if it isn't, it's best to warn as many people as possible! Take good care and thank you for your time.

Urgent Security Alert: Beware of Hacker Friend Requests

@School Staff @Students

We received this warning and are sharing it to urge you all to be careful. Please read carefully and forward this to all servers you are on, as it is important. Do not accept any friend requests from haryzinn or Ghost. He has a picture of an eye with two hands almost touching. He is a hacker/🍇 . Tell everyone on your friends list, because if someone on your list adds him, they will also be on your list. They will find your IP address and computer address, so please copy and paste this message whenever possible. He is sending friend requests to random Discord users, and those who accept his requests will have their accounts and IP addresses revealed to him. Spread the word and send it to as many Discord servers as possible. If you see this user, do not accept the friend request and report him immediately. Be careful with your discord friend requests.
