Age Of Cenozoic is rolling out a server rework to simplify navigation and reduce clutter. The update will cut channels to under 30, remove colored emojis in channel names, add symbols, introduce new roles and an application channel, and reduce ping frequency. Improved layouts and clearer announcement previews are planned to enhance the community experience.
Server Update
Hello. I have seen many new people joining saying the server looks complicated, extremely long, and generally the sort of place you will get lost in. Now, I fully agree with you. In actual fact we have 99-103 channels (not sure as I’m doing thing on mobile). This number does include staff channels.
Because of this, me and @Bug will be reworking the server later today. Here’s some things you can expect:
- No coloured emojis (Sometimes coloured emojis can make it confusing, as well as ugly - sorry I have to say it) (CHANNEL NAMES)
- Symbols next to channel names
- Under 30 channels
- New roles (Including colours)
- An application channel
Alongside this server change, we will also be/do/have:
- Better layouts in the future when we announce things / show previews in game
- A LOT less pings - I have had a few people moan about it, and some people have said it can reach up to 5 pings a day. I get that is it very annoying trying to press all the pings, or simply doing read all every day.

I am saying this now before doing it, because I just know someone is going to ask ‘where’d all the channels go?’ -> Yes, I will be making all channels except the announcement/development channels, general/media, art/3D art all not visible so you won’t see the change until it’s finished.
We will try do this as fast as we can, this will start in about 3 hours (????)
I feel like Astrid is doing a lot more than me as an owner, so I would like to play my part as an owner. Thank you!
