I just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly proud I am of all of us. Back on day one, I honestly had no intention of making this game as popular as it’s becoming. It is so clear that you guys genuinely love the idea of this, and I appreciate every single one of you for that. Watching a personal passion project of mine turn into a passion project for all of you is easily the coolest feeling in the world. (And your boosting my ego /sarcastic)

This is by far the biggest project I’ve ever managed, and I really want to shout out the players who have stuck with me for over 4 years now. From Leopards Destiny to Younger Dryas Survival, Frozen Frontier, Crimstone Valley, and now AoC; those of you who have been around since the beginning deserve serious praise. Thank you for sticking around, even through any past drama or bumps in the road. It means everything.

Recently, we have had a LOT of new players joining. I would like to thank you all for doing what you have done to contribute to this - we have seen a 46.9% incline in joins recently. That's A LOT!
Please keep it up! I know it’s a lot to ask, but seeing the community grow like this gives the dev team a massive burst of motivation to keep building. One day, I really hope to jump onto a stage channel, tag everyone and type out: "The game is releasing in ___ hours!!!!!". Being able to do that for you guys would be an absolute dream come true.

Hello!

There is currently an issue with discords moderation in regards of their AI.
Discord has been attempting to fight the rampant ||CSAM|| proliferation issues they've been experiencing in part by using AI image recognition trained on common ||CSAM|| images.
As a result, many non-||CSAM|| images with a grid pattern (screen shots of Google Drive file lists, chess boards, tables of data, etc) are being flagged as ||CSAM|| and result in the user posting it being permabanned.

30 day development hiatus
We want to provide an update on the current state of Age of Cenozoic.

Over the past 2 months, we've faced on-going challenges in expanding our development team. At this time, we are in need of additional developers, particularly 3D modelers, which requires resources that are currently limited.

As a result, we will be placing development on a temporary hiatus. We want to be clear that this does not mean the project is being abandoned or left to stagnate. During this period, our primary focus will be recruiting talented modelers and other contributors who are comfortable working with delayed compensation arrangements.

With development management currently being handled now by me (alone without Astrid), we are also working through several financial challenges that need to be addressed before we can continue development at the pace we would like.

Given our current circumstances, we believe this is the most responsible course of action for the project.

How You Can Help 🦴

If you'd like to support Age of Cenozoic, here are a few ways you can help:

• Refer experienced 3D artists or modelers to us.

• Those familiar with revenue-share (%-based) arrangements will understand the details.

• Connect us with potential investors.
