Upgrade Validators to Splice 0.6.2 by June 8
Summary
Canton Network announces a mandatory upgrade: MainNet validators and Featured App operators must run at least Splice 0.6.2 by Monday June 8. This is required for the upcoming Logical Synchronizer Upgrades across DevNet TestNet and MainNet. Nodes on Splice 0.6.1 or below will fail Featured App processing when Daml models from 0.6.2 activate on June 9. Super Validators recommend weekly updates and provide an operations schedule and calendar for coordination.
Developer Action Required: Minimum Splice Version
Validators and Featured App operators must upgrade MainNet Validator nodes to at least Splice 0.6.2 by Monday, June 8.
This upgrade is required for the upcoming Logical Synchronizer Upgrades across DevNet, TestNet, and MainNet.
If a Featured App is hosted on a node running Splice 0.6.1 or below, Featured App processing will fail once the Daml models from Splice 0.6.2 go into effect on Tuesday, June 9.
Recommended Action
Please upgrade to Splice 0.6.2 or later as soon as possible.
The Super Validators strongly recommend upgrading weekly and staying aligned with the version currently operated by the SVs.
