Second Haven

Be a friend to others who are struggling with chronic illness, stigma, loneliness, grief or depression. If that's you, our community is here for you. We understand what you're going through.

Finding friends is not easy when you can't leave the house. Not everyone can just hop in a car and meet up in the real world, so we created shared spaces in Discord and Minecraft. In our worlds, we can be ourselves, communicate and participate in whatever way supports how we're feeling (energy level, brain fog, mental state, and so on). You are welcome exactly as you are.

In our Minecraft worlds, we need:
- Builders
- Lore Creators
- Storytellers
- Game/Quest Designers
- Puzzle Makers
- Character Writers

We welcome people of all ages, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religions. The only non-negotiables are kindness and non-judgment.

We offer moral support, listening ears, and simple presence using Discord and Minecraft as the virtual spaces where we build genuine community. Safety is a top priority. Our mods are deeply committed to these principles.

Second Haven is a registered non-profit with 501(c)(3) status pending. Our mission is to build safe and supportive virtual communities that foster genuine friendship and belonging.
