[PRIVATE LOBBIES & DISCORD BAN REPORTS]
We've been looking into some reports made over the weekend and would like to clarify the situation a bit.
1) Hackers are infiltrating Gameloft servers to join Private Lobbies.
This is false. Hackers have not been able to infiltrate our servers to gain access to private lobbies and player's personal account info.
The list of active private lobbies and participating user IDs is not something hackers "infiltrated"; user IDs alone don't expose your account. Your personal info, including your email or IP address, is never visible or accessible through private lobbies in any way.
It is perfectly safe to continue participating in private lobbies without fear of your data being stolen.
2) Players are getting perma-banned on Discord for sharing in-game screenshots.
This is false. No players have been permanently banned from discord for sharing a screenshot of Private Lobby or Leaderboard.
This was based on a report that users were getting banned by sharing images with grid patterns on them. Discord has already confirmed that it was based on a few false positives with their AI moderation system, and that all bans were temporary and removed upon human verification and review.
