Neither can both the Leader or the Challenger are able to use the listed Pokémon for official gym battles, if you are caught using them you will be disqualified and have to retry doing the gym all over again.
BATTLE GIMMICKS
- You are only allowed ONE Mega Evolution
- Terastilization, Dynamax, and Z-Moves are forbidden to use for both leader and challenger
- NO OHKO Moves - Fissure, Sheer Cold, Guillotine, and Horn Drill
- Sleep Clause - only one opposing Pokémon asleep at all times
- Baton Pass Clause - passing multiple stat boosts are banned
- Species Clause - no duplicate Pokémon on a team
- Trapping Abilities - Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, etc are banned
- Swagger - banned
