We havent had an update in a few months but here’s some of the things that had been going on

✨ New Additions
– Added some new bots, including game bots and an AI chat bot

🌌 Star Wars Theme
– Started transitioning the server to a Star Wars theme
– Renamed channels and categories to match the new look

🛠️ Changes & Improvements
– Simplified age roles
– Updated the 18+ verification process
– Made general server improvements

📋 Staff Updates
– Added a few new staff members to the team

🎉 Other News
– Lost our server banner for a bit, but it’s back now!

As you all know we recently ran an event to completely transform Luna's lounge into something new.

The winner of the event via votes in a poll was "Star Wars"

Over the next few days myself and the rest of the team will be working in a test server to work on new channel, category, role and server names. The profile picture for the server will also be changing.

Same members, same vibe, just a different look.

Updates will be made regularly for this so keep an eye on this channel to stay in the loop ❤️

Online Safety and protecting your identity

The safety of our members and their identities are one of our top priorities within this server.

Recent events have proven that even those we trust and see as friends might not be who they say they are.

Given this recent learning experience for all of us I would like to put out this statement giving some tips on how to keep yourself and your identity safe when interacting with strangers online.

1. DO NOT give out personal information such as:
   ⚫ phone numbers
   ⚫ emails
   ⚫ your location
   ⚫ passwords
   ⚫ external socials (if you don't know the person)

2. DO NOT give people your face, videos of yourself or anything they can use to be you online

3. DO reach out to @.----Staff----. either privately or via a ticket in #🆘-distress-signal and talk to us about it with evidence to back your case up.

4. If a member seems suspicious or acts weirdly reach out to us we will never make fun of you, disregard your concerns or push you to the side. Every report gets taken seriously and is listened to and discussed privately by staff.

YOU are what make this server special and your overall safety is our top priority, we care about our members new and old and want this space to be safe and comfortable for everyone.

Going forward staff will be more vigilant and attentive to the ongoings within the server so unfortunately this does mean we will have to enforce our rules more effectively.

With current circumstances arising we have learned that a user has been pretending to be @𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞 🫶 online using her pictures, socials and who knows what else.

This goes against discord T.O.S and is exactly what we need to keep an eye on with other members here.

For those who know her, Fran has been pretending to be Evie for a large amount of time now and has spoken to god knows who, pretending to be her.

This is not only against discord T.O.S but is also Identity fraud which is illegal in practically every country.

Going forwards things are being taken into review to see what can/will be done but if you have sent Fran any selfies privately I would recommend deleting them just to be safe

I apologise for the random ping, but today discord have had several reports of outages including VC related issues.

VCs seem to still work on some device's and in servers but you may experience difficulties connecting in DMs and on consoles.

I'll keep an eye out for more information and I will post it when I see an update on the situation.

I won't ping everyone for every update though so just keep an eye out if you wanna stay in the loop

– The levels system has been reworked to be smoother and clearer
– We’ve added a new staff member to the team @Darling🩶
– A ticket system is now available for help or issues #🆘-distress-signal
– All minors now also have the Not Looking role
– Minors have also been given the Closed Dms
– We’ve partnered with an 18+ server for those who want a more adult space
– The server’s look and layout have been refreshed to be cleaner, simpler, and more organised

Recently the department of homeland security has demanded companies such as meta (Facebook, threads, Instagram, WhatsApp), Reddit, and Discord search for anyone speaking against ICE or just criticising them and once they find these people, the companies are to give the department of homeland security emails, phone numbers, IP addresses and even real names of those who speak against ICE.

Now we try to avoid politics within this server and that is why I am taking full responsibility for this announcement. This isn't related to the server it is for your general safety!

The department of homeland security and ICE have not yet stated what they will do with this information if the companies comply. But in the interest of your own safety we should be more careful with how we talk about these situations

As our member count continues to grow I would like to remind everyone that we do have #suggestions✩ for if you have any ideas on how to make this server more fun, active, engaging and most importantly safe for everyone!

No idea is stupid (unless you go out of your way to make a stupid one || @Доминик || ) and all suggestions will be taken into account by our wonderful staff team.

Having said that, there are 2 big announcements to come very soon as well as some extra updates. Keep an eye on this channel to stay up-to-date on everything and if you'd rather not, feel free to head over to #🎭-choose-your-path and then pick up the "Monthly Updates" role for 1 big update every month

We are releasing this announcement to remind everyone that staff members should be the only people who deal with rule breakers and drama starters. In future if you see someone causing an issue and there isn't a staff activity talking in chat, ping a member of normal staff, I will list them below so you know who to ping:
- @Jedi Padawans (these are female trial staff members)
- @Jedi Padawans (these are male trial staff members)
- @Jedi Masters (full female staff)
- @Jedi Masters (full male staff)

Admins (@Sith Lords) should only be pinged by staff members when they are unsure on how to handle a situation.

We don't want to see people taking staff actions into their own hands as it causes more and bigger issues in the long run.

Please keep this in mind as we move into the coming months. If you are really wanting to do staff things you can wait until we officially open applications.
