Summary
In Pokémon Champions a new thread asks for help building a Mega Golisopod trick room VGC team. The post discusses TR setters like Hatterene, Mimikyu, Indeedee, and Farigiraf, potential switches between Rotom and Ursaluna, and options like Rillaboom or Sinistcha for redirection and support. Advice on EV spreads and reliable passive TR setters is requested to improve team synergy.
I’m fairly new to Pokémon and I’ve never really played competitive that much but me and my friends are planning on getting really into it during champions. I wasn’t sure what mega to use but I was really interested in golisopod bec I like its design and I saw some leaks saying it might get tough claws. Any help would be very appreciated!

I haven't really done any EV spreads, bec i dont really know what I need to calc against bec I dont know whats gonna be in the game lol.
Thinking abt swapping rotom for ursaluna
If it's Tr, you really need another tr setter
maybe hatterene or mimyku?
and rotom isn't really the speed you want, it's a bit too fast
Yeah I think I’m changing that to ursaluna
I’m thinking about swapping rillaboom for sinistcha if I need another tr setter cuz it also gives redirection, a fighting immunity, and the healing is nice
Yep. I try have 2 or 3 tr setters
On that’s crazy reliable bulky passive
Other two have the tr option but are also crazy offensive
Because you can’t have to many passive tr setters
Wdym by passive?
Like an indeedee
That learn follow me trick room protect and like dazzling gleam
Doesn’t do much other then supporting the team
I would say farigaraf isn’t passive
I can’t really tell without the EVs. Sometimes they’re passive
Mines offensive but my lead tr setter is mimikyu and hatterene
If I use far it’s usually in the back
Mine will probably be a bit more offensive but I’ll see how things go
