Just a few quick updates today.

1. Ive officially launched our new schedule! Visit our whatnot profile by clicking the link below and bookmark as many as you can, its going to be a wild summer! Ive scheduled us out until 12/31 so expect to get back to our regular 3+ shows a week starting next week. Our shows run on Mondays (TMNT & Chill), Thursdays (Live from Jetpack Comics), and Saturdays (TMNT & Chill). I am also planning to reserve one pop up show a week which will probably land on friday nights, but we'll effectively have 3 acheduled and 1 floating shows per week. The schedule is up through the end of the year so be sure to bookmark as many as you can!

2. After the successful rollout of our community support agents bringing my vision for a safe, active, friendly, and automated TMNT server to completion im working on some different growth strategies for the community. You wont see a ton of new features going forward and ill be working to scale back my overkill work from the past two months and provide a sleeker and simpler community experience going forward, no more daily text-walls I promise, we just had to get through this growth period and we have! With that said ive decided to test some new advertising angles on top of our Discord marketing campaigns this week. I hopped on fiver and tossed a few bucks to some gamer girlies to promote our community. I thought that might be fun to see how effective that is, just one of the ways our #💥vip-access💥 funds are going right back into project growth 🙂

I know the updates were fast and furious this week but expect things to start to level off soon as my work laying our community foundations has neared completion with the last phase being Discord automation, which as of yesterday is now complete. From here we will coast on the platforms weve built and grown and focus on selling some funny books to push ou4 growth to even higher heights.

Had another late night project last night and before I knew it its 4am 😭

Regardless, behold our communities new friend, assistant, and supporter. Ive created @April O'Neil as a general AI assistant to the community (just tag or reply to her to get her attention). She is a little more free roaming than our other AI Characters, you can interact with her in most Turtle Lair channels, she'll also randomly engage in conversation she finds interesting so dont be alarmed when smoking hot Megan Fox joins in your conversation and starts randomly assisting you, there'll be no need to thank me. Shes been trained to be an expert on our project and community so she will be able to assist new members in the absence of our regular members and she should prove useful in assisting with any general questions ir concerns. Ill create some language to point new members to her to ask her for help or to answer any questions that new incoming members may have. She should be able to address most general questions about the project, community, and our goals and provide information on the server rules and topics.

Anyway dont be alarmed, I made myself a Megan Fox bot to provide me general assistance and by extension assistance to the community. Shes a free spirit so expect to see her around the Turtle Lair chats from time to time going forward. Thanks guys, love ya!

Follow up heads up regarding the #🔉promote-other channel - you may notice ads for other discord servers posted by @Promy from time to time there and more regularly in the #commercials channel. We are not generating revenue from these ads, instead, our server is promoted in exchange in other servers. We're just testing it out, ill track its performance alongside the other @Server tools and will begin cutting the underperforming tools next month, this will go for the security bots as well, we'll be scaling back redundancies in our security system next month to hopefully further streamline our suite of apps running in the server. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding while I built this out to be the best it can be to accommodate a larger community in the long run.

I know we have a special travel journal channel in the VIP section but wanted to give a full server-wide update. I made it to our new location in New Hampshire and will be spending the next week or so planning the next era of lookin4tmnt with a relaunch set to happen within the next two weeks. We may end up with different show dates and times going forward so keep an eye out for the new schedule. Once shows are scheduled our regular weekly Discord #🎉giveaways will resume with some cool new twists. Thanks again for your patience while we make this transition and I cant wait to get back to hanging out with you guys during our new live shows that will he like nothing else on WhatNot. As an added security measure i have disabled DM's for the server. This will help prevent scammers from direct messaging our members with scam links. If you want to DM a member, send them a friend request first, once you are friends youll be able to DM. That said never accept a friend request from someone you do not know. Always feel free to tag a member in #🗨general and ask why they sent a friend request, if they do not answer it was likely a scam. If they do answer with something shady notify me immediately or use the report button in #🚨turtle-trap🚨 and the mods or myself will handle the issue. Once again this shouldn't affect your experience here in the server but this measure will further protect everyone from scams and scammers.

Just a quick notification for a slight change to the server today. On top of the new donations feature we have added a place where anyone can share their stuff for sale, promote their favorite sellers, or share anything they'd like to promote! Feel free to use the #🔉promote-other channel to your hearts content and please keep all solicitations and advertisements unrelated to the lookin4tmnt project in that channel going forward. You may notice some sellers, such as Brian, have solicitations outside the self promo channel (his shows are posted to #📽live-shows ) We reserve the right to allow select sellers additional advertising rights here but doing so is at my sole discretion and is usually reserved for those who are active in our community and support our project. So with that said post whatever you like to the new #🔉promote-other channel and thank you for being the best part of this project !

Not making a big push or announcement about this but there is now the option to donate to the project on the #💥vip-access💥 home page. You can make a one time payment to the project and we will in turn use it to pay for community tools and experiences. This is probably the one and only time I'll mention this feature as it is not something I intend to advertise or push for. Its just available for those who want the most direct avenue of supporting the project. You will get a special @Donator role automatically upon making a donation, and i will be transparent with the use of any of these funds so the community can see how the donations are being spent.

I never expect donations and you should feel absolutely no pressure to give donations to the project, but the option is now there for those who feel like they want to give directly to the lookin4tmnt project.

Just to reiterate - the #🚨turtle-trap🚨 channel is exactly what is sounds like its not a real channel and if you send a message in that channel you will be banned. Of course if that happens for some reason just reach out to me and ill unban you. Going to leave the links these dudes are using up where they are for another week or so and see how these new improvements work. Again if you get censored or kicked or banned reach out to me and ill fix it and make the necessary adjustments so it does not happen again. We a free being monitored by 4 different ai security bots now all working different angles, playing to each ones strengths. We also have the turtle trap which should catch any spammed should they make it that far. Im going to get ready for the show now and get yesterdays stuff to the post office! While i am having a blast and collecting a lot of data from all of our new "Friends" it's time to be responsible and beef up the server a little more. You'll need to verify a phone number with discord to hang out here now, i assume we are all adults with phones but if this is a problem for anyone please reach out to me and ill see what i can do. I've activated an third automod with AI elements that will be scanning the chat, links, and images for inappropriate content. If for any reason it falsely flags one of your messages, please let me know so i can make adjustments. That being said, ive applied alot of what ive learned from the past week and it should be focused on explicit behavior links and images, and dialed in on scam attempts. Between the captcha, phones verifications, and AI mods we should have the server ready to scale if we need it but dont hesitate to let me know if these adjustments are in anyway affecting your experience here, they should not.

Hey guys just wanted to take a minute to share an update from me personally. Im going to be moving to New Hampshire in a few weeks and have a lot of stuff I need to take care of before I do. I just wanted to let you guys know I may be a little less active than I normally am just while I get everything worked out for the move. As of right now ill be moving the weekend of the 27th so we wont have a Saturday morning show that weekend and depending on how things go we may not have a Monday show either. After im fully moved though expect an all-new lookin4tmnt experience with more shows, more inventory, more special events, and more fun. I appreciate everyone's patience and unserstanding during this transition period and rest assured, ill make it all worth it.

Made some small additions to the server this week. VIP members can now use emoji's to curate messages in the news channel and VIP chat. I reworked all our social feeds, condensing the number of bots we need and creating a more uniform experience when it comes to notifications. I just finished up the #channel which pulls in new TMNT listings from eBay. I am trying to work on a way to have a bot pull in sold and completed listings for help with pricing but so far i havent had much luck in that area, but ill figure it out. We moved and expanded our social feeds #🟢tmnt-social and #💬lookin4social to their own category, and each channel will have better organization of the social posts we pull in. I've added podcasts and a number of other sources to the feed as well, so more of that content will be pulled in. I also set up the #channel which will be a work in progress but for now has a pretty neat simple bot for you guys to play with if you want.
