Office Hours: Server Discovery & Monetization
Summary
Mr. Anoop's server hosts office hours tomorrow to review server discovery changes and explore ways communities can monetize. The announcement highlights member leaderboards and richer listing info plus approaches to automatically request donations without being intrusive. Members are invited to share ideas and feedback.
We’re doing office hours tomorrow. Hope to see you all there!
This is an important one for us. We’ll talk about some of the new changes happening around server discovery, but more importantly, we want to discuss how we can help communities monetize.
We have a lot of ideas we’d love to share and get your thoughts on, especially around two things:
1. Member leaderboards and showing more information about your community on your listing page.
2. The right way to automatically ask users for donations without making it annoying or intrusive.
