Why is there 3 numbers between 1-5 and 4 numbers between 5-10
1-5 - 3 numbers in between (5 in total)
5-10 - 4 numbers in between (6 in total)
Because you usually start counting from 0, then it make sense.
Example:
0-5 - 4 numbers in between (6 in total)
5-10 - 4 numbers in between (6 in total)
It is the middle:
0 1 2 3 4
