Building the Schwerer Gustav: BrickWar Model Concept
Summary
The BrickWar community is discussing an ambitious modular build concept for the massive Schwerer Gustav railway gun. This proposal breaks the project into specialized kits, including bogies, the gun assembly, gantry cranes, and support railcars. By suggesting a comprehensive kit system with crew figures and a tethered balloon spotting team, this discussion highlights the potential for a highly detailed and collectible large-scale LEGO military project.

I was just looking at this as a build. If I was to market this, I might consider multiple kits. 1 kit for the bogie sets (2 needed). One set each for the frame (with jack pads), gun assy., loading platform, and the gantry crane. A kit for the tracks with the added support grid (long enough for complete model.). Kits for the locomotives and ammo railcars along with some ammo. I understand there was a spotting crew that was in a tethered balloon to verify the shots. That would be cool. And of course, each kit has the designated crew for their roles. And a nice discount if you buy the whole deal.
yah i should look amazing as a build
