I wanted to take a moment to be completely transparent with you all about the next phase of our server and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what’s been happening.
Since we are still a newer server, I’ve been pouring an immense amount of time, energy, and love into building out our future. I wanted to create something truly deep and immersive for all of us. However, as the world-building, lore, and mechanics have expanded, this next phase has grown into an absolute massive beast.
To give you an idea of the scale, I've built out entirely new races, an accessory system, surprise boss fights, a fully realized crafting system, a simple level system for stats, and a massive Broodmother event boss—plus a ton more.
Honestly, it has gotten so big that it might simply be too large to properly implement directly into this current setup without completely cluttering things up and overwhelming everyone right out of the gate.
Because I don't want to compromise on the depth of this content or ruin the vibe we’ve already started building here, I’m seriously debating spinning this new expansion off into its own dedicated sister server. This would give these new systems and lore the dedicated space they deserve while keeping our main home clean and organized.
I’m still weighing my options and figuring out the best way to handle this, but I wanted to keep you all in the loop. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, so please drop your feedback, questions, or ideas in the suggestions channels.
