Name: Blaze The Cat
Why do you want this character?:
Personality: Usually calm and collected, Blaze holds an elegant and professional appearance, though having a tendency to hide her true feelings. She’s quite stoic and distant from others on account to how she used to lock herself away, but she’s been consistently progressing in becoming more social, trying her best for everyone. In fact, now Blaze is actually able to let herself relax sometimes, believing in her friends to be able to handle things when she’s not around. She’s mannerly and always sticks to her personal principles with pride, speaking politely to most she encounters.
Blaze is also incredibly perceptive to people’s lies, but also very self-reliant. She can be blunt when dealing with things she considers an annoyance, and also has a tendency to judge others poorly, but on the inside she has a very kind heart and will always stand up for those who can’t themselves. This is shown off the most whenever Blaze lashes out in anger, oftentimes doing so due to wanting to protect someone or something, and she’s not one to let obstacles get in her way so easily. Blaze is also pretty ruthless to her enemies as is, so just hope she calms down before she gets to you if you’re considered one of them.

Backstory:
Blaze was born into the royal family of the Sol Empire, possessing the innate ability to control fire and using it to aid herself in her duty to protect both the Jeweled Scepter and the Sol Emeralds. Thanks to her inability to control her flames at a young age, she was often ridiculed and taunted for it, making her spend a majority of her life alone. She eventually gained control through practice, but that did not rid her of the bullying she had experienced before.
During her time as a princess, she’s been through a multitude of journeys, those of which have involved either battling against her nemesis, Dr. Nega, the Sol Dimension counterpart to Dr. Eggman, and all those robot pirates, or helping out Sonic and his friends within their own dimension(or even saving both worlds a few times), leading to her opening up much more, finally happy to claim she has friends, especially her best friend, Marine the Raccoon. She’s been having a much better time now, feeling safe with the knowledge there are others she can fall back on at times, as well as feeling much more confident with the flames inside her.
Despite being a more distant ally due to her duties, Blaze is always a friend who could be counted on for help. This has continued to even the present day, where she has returned once more, like a phoenix to shine out from the shadows and rise once again...

It was night time at the sol dimension, most of the inner people at the castle was sleeping, only the guards and gardon(her personal guard) being awake… Well of course that is apart from Blaze herself, she was doing paperwork in a dimly lit room… and boy was this a lot of paperwork, though it's probably what a princess of an empire should do… Right?
“... Sighs This is a ridiculous amount of paperwork, but I can do this…”
She was contemplating about the time this heck load of paperwork would finish, Blaze would probably prefer that it would be ended before she became too tired for sleep and possibly Gardon helping her… Though that turned out to be a bit bad in timing as Gardon came out and suggested that maybe she should take a break, this was expected by her.
After a few seconds of hearing the suggestion, she got up and turned to face him directly. ‘I can't accept this, I need to be strong and prove myself worthy… but I also need to be respectful about this matter’ she told to herself.
“Gardon, I appreciate your opinion about taking a break to continue this the next day… but i assure you that i have no fatigue and I'll end this soon. Now I'm asking you to go and get rest, do NOT worry about me. Everything will go fine.”
She said before Gardon leaving and being back to work herself, she sighed and facepalmed for a moment before speaking towards herself about this.
“Maybe I should have accepted Gardon’s offer… Though that might have shown me weak towards my people.”
She murmured before continuing to fill out the paperwork with no fuss at all afterward, keeping her words to herself.
Well it was like that until a very suspicious sound was audible from a pretty close range. Presuming that someone managed to barge in the room, she got up and was in a fighting stance.
“Halt right there, unknown intruder! Show yourself right now!!”
Her tail flicked to the side for a moment as Blaze looked around,
her face showing that she wasn't gonna take any nonsense as an offer. They had some levels of nerves to enter here...
“If you're attempting to injure me, you have to try hard for it!”
She spoke up as her look was intently towards where the sound was, but after a few minutes nothing happened. She looked around for one more time before slowly calming down.
“Huh… Probably it was the lack of sleep stimulating me..”
She murmured to herself before focusing back towards her paper and trying to end the paperwork that was putting a number on her, I mean who could really stop her on doing that? There would be more chance of making her sleep in a normal day for that matter.
