First Introductions
PA[It wasn't too long ago that tsunamis ravaged the coastline and GUN had to step in to protect this city, but things were still being washed ashore. Badniks were dispatched in the waves as a sifting crew, trying to find anything along the beach that might've been brought with the water from Angel Island and were ready to destroy any opposition to their effort. Sounds of battle could be heard as an unknown fighter was already on the scene, Abbi. She leaped into the air and fired her harpoons into the metal monstrosities while gliding over their attacks, only every other shot managing to take one out. She can keep it up, but if reinforcements came she would soon be overrun. Not to mention avoiding GUN's attention is usually for the best, so time is of the essence.]

PA[The explosive weaponry reminded the princess of the robot menace that she'd started facing not long ago, and assumed the odd light based attacks came from the same source. She leaped into the air to get a view of who fired those shots, thinking it was a powerful badnik that had terrible aim. That confusion gave her defenses the final vulnerability needed for the eggrobot to get an unseen blast in, the first hit she'd have to take on the chin. Within one moment she was yanked from the air and was situated behind a rock, this odd hedgehog shaped robot with a weird arm talking to her. Robot fighting robot, she wasn't going to complain.
"Tough fight is right, their armor takes one shot too many. Need a weakpoint to aim at, if ya know one it's a good time to mention. Thanks for the save by the way, that blast almost had me. You have a name, killer?"]

PA[Well, that wasn't quite answering her question about any weak points these badniks had. Whatever, need to keep pressing on. Keep it simple, seems this robot -Shard The Metal Sonic, whatever is a sonic? - needs some handholding in conversation.
"Shard, do you know what weak spots these enemies have?"]
PA[No weakness, they're just weak? Guess I was hitting it wrong in the first place. In the moment she considers this the arm canon stopped working, a growing concern as even more enemies were closing in. "Guess it's time for me to make it count" She shrugged, running out from behind cover, turning off the safety limitor on her weapon and letting a harpoon shoot out clear through the carapace of a robot, a hunk of metal ripped off as it was dragged back which she used to block a few energy blasts while slamming her tail into the ground to jump up and start shooting at various enemies while shooting them.]

PA["'Way more'? Well, I'd love to meet the rest. I thought I was alone until you came along. I'm sorry about worrying you back there, getting in the water was my best bet at buying you the most time." She shakes Shard's hand. "We best get going, if I'm right there's about to be another tsunami surge and I'm guessing it'll be worse on nearby land than trying to swim it. Lead the way, preferably away from the beach."]

PA[She pulled her hand back quickly as she felt the electricity in his hand surge up as they touched, watching in concern. "Not waterproof, got it. So, we need to go help people? Alright, happy to do so...outside of carrying them ourselves, how? Wait...no I have an idea. Show me where these...mobians..are, and the shelter."]

PA[It was admittedly kinda funny to hear Shard so panicked by a trick she'd practiced so much. But now was not the time for that! "Middle of park, clear the way, start guiding people. Got it." She nodded, making haste to get them to the park. Shard's bubble popped when she slammed it to the ground and landed on it before making a break for the center to start clearing the junk like instructed, hoping Shard could get fixed fast.]

PA["Whatever stands for local authorites will probably either be helping us or wanting us out of the way, which one are we dealing with Shard?" She asked as she continued clearing the way, using her bubbles to get the heavier things out of the way. People didn't have to wait long, thankfully, but it was still a bit of time.]

PA["G.U.N. is what they're called? And that island...Angel island then? Got it. Is your flight fixed? I can't exactly bop you around in a bubble while getting others to safety too."]

PA[She watched him roll into a ball shape and start spinning, immensely confused. So spikey. "You want me to...well, alright then!" She runs up behind him, turning at the last moment to slam the flat of her tail into his rear at full force. She's not the most powerful, but that's gonna do something at least.]

PA[She stayed behind, guiding people into the shelter in a safe fashion and helping those in who need the extra assistance. The surface has so many people... people that need help, like her home does.]

PA["As far as I can see there's no one else coming or stuck." She confirmed, eyes scanning their surroundings. "Unless you got somewhere to get away from the water you'd best get in too, it's going to get real wet and that zap earlier looked like it wasn't fun."]

PA[She followed him in, leaning against the wall instead of taking a seat. "You're telling me. First day ashore...first hours ashore, and all of this? Wow. If I didn't know why it's happening I'd figure this place is always in some sort of danger. Is that why there's others like us, constant attacks from something or another?"]
PA["A savior of the world named Sonic the Hedgehog? Well, from what I've seen today you're certainly a hero in your own right. Certainly saved the people of this city, and me."]
PA["Ahuh...so they're useless outside of fights amd even thats if you convince them you're not the enemy. Got it. So what's the plan? Waves aren't forgiving, it's going to take a lot of people to fix the destruction."]
PA["That's good. How do you communicate over long distance to coordinate? Or are you hoping they'll show up with the needed supplies."]
PA["Hey, I don't know what robots can do. First time above the waves, remember? So, how do you do it?"]
PA["Ahuh...well alright. I'll just take your word for it then."]
