Summery: God used obedient Christians to show to the even the most distant countries and inhabited places (isles) the salvation and love God has for them. There is no one far away living that can not get or see the love of Christ.
In result of this showing love towards distant people, they will begin to fear (respectful and honorable) God, which leads them to salvation and repentance. Like this God used you as being an example to others of what God's love is, which brings people closer no matter how far they are.

Romans 1:19-20

Summery: There are two responses of people when they see the salvation of God working in other's heart. One is that they are also get the salvation and the other is that they are afraid of it, because they do not see the sinfulness of their actions and so they don't want to get salvation, but they understand the consequences, because God is light and that light when it works salvation in someone's heart. It lights up people's sins to reveal their evilness.

Example: By simple actions of faith we can help people to move away from their evil sin and to discourage them from continuing on that destructive sinful path.

drew near, and came.
