💣 Bleed Nuke & Channel Reconstruction
Bleed’s Nuke system can clone or recreate channels, including scheduled channel reconstruction.
These commands can permanently alter channel history and structure, so they should remain strictly Owner-only.
Use them only when a channel genuinely needs to be rebuilt, refreshed, or placed on a deliberate reconstruction schedule.
💣 Nuke the Current Channel
,nuke
Clones the current channel and replaces it with a recreated version.
Requires: Administrator + Antinuke Admin
⚠️ Treat this as highly destructive.
Before using it, preserve anything important from the existing channel, including:
- pinned messages
- important links
- moderation evidence
- useful historical discussion
- channel-specific configuration
A recreated channel may preserve some structure while losing message history.
⏰ Schedule a Nuke
,nuke add [channel] [interval] [message]
Schedules a channel to be periodically recloned.
Requires: Administrator
This could theoretically be useful for temporary or disposable channels that should reset on a schedule.
For Holme, I would use scheduled nukes very sparingly.
Do not schedule reconstruction for channels containing important community history.
🗑️ Remove a Scheduled Nuke
,nuke remove [channel]
Cancels the scheduled nuke for a selected channel.
Use this whenever a channel should no longer be automatically reconstructed.
📋 View Scheduled Nukes
,nuke list
Lists all channels currently scheduled for reconstruction.
Review this periodically if you ever enable scheduled nukes.
📜 Archive Pins Before Reconstruction
,nuke archive [channel] [setting]
Controls whether pinned messages are archived when a scheduled nuke occurs.
This is particularly important for preserving useful information before channel recreation.
If the channel contains meaningful pins, enable archival where appropriate.
👁️ View Nuke Message
,nuke view [channel]
Displays the message configured to appear after the selected channel is reconstructed.
Use this to confirm what members will see after the channel returns.
⚖️ Laws of Channel Reconstruction
I. Never Nuke for Convenience
Do not recreate a channel merely because cleaning it manually would take longer.
II. Preserve Before Destroying
Archive important pins, records, links, and evidence first.
III. Protect Historical Spaces
Channels containing meaningful community history should generally be preserved rather than periodically recreated.
IV. Scheduled Nukes Need a Purpose
Only use automatic reconstruction for channels deliberately designed to be temporary or regularly reset.
V. Confirm the Target
Double-check the channel before executing any nuke command.
VI. Review Permissions Afterwards
After reconstruction, verify permissions, category placement, topics, bot access, and other channel settings.
📜 Quick Reference
,nuke — Recreate the current channel ⚠️
,nuke add — Schedule reconstruction
,nuke remove — Cancel scheduled reconstruction
,nuke list — View scheduled nukes
,nuke archive — Control pin archival
,nuke view — View post-reconstruction message
💣 Reconstruction should preserve the function of a chamber without carelessly erasing its memory.
