A poem written in 15 minutes made by @<3
A baby blooms beneath the morning sun,
A little life has just begun.
Tiny hands reaching, learning to grow,
with endless places left to go.
The world is bright, untouched, and new,
with skies of endless shades of blue.
Like flowers waking after winter’s end,
Life starts softly, with time to spend.
A child runs wild beneath the summer sky,
chasing the clouds as they wander by.
Barefoot laughter, scraped-up knees,
adventures carried on the breeze.
Then teenage years begin to appear,
with changing dreams and growing fears.
The sun still shines, but time moves fast
you slowly realize childhood won’t last.
The leaves turn gold, then drift away,
As youth becomes another day.
Adulthood comes with love and strife,
with choices shaping the course of life.
You build your dreams, you learn, you fall,
You rise again through it all.
And like the trees that lose their leaves,
You learn that growing means to leave.
Soon enough the years grow quiet, the winds grow slow,
And silver rests where dark once showed. Wrinkled hands hold memories tight, Of childhood days and summer nights. The world outside may turn to white,
But memories keep their golden light.
And though the final season nears,
A lifetime lives within those years.
For every spring must turn to fall,
And every winter comes for all.
Yet life is not simply time gone by
It is every laugh, each tear, each sky.
From the first breath to the final flame,
We change our seasons, but remain
a part of something endlessly true:
The seasons change
and so do we.
