Why do ppl on social media platforms specifically choose to target African American people constantly? I stopped using discord for a while but I was reminded why I even left because people will disrespect you solely on the color of your skin even when you're not talking to them. On top of that, there was a trend on tiktok where people disclosed their type in women and continued to say "as long as they're not fat or black". And I get having a preference but to go on and list stereotypes and derogatory terms in relation to black women and plus size women is just absurd.
So my question is, why?

i think this also applies to all person of color not just black people in general, like racism is something that will unfortunately never be forgiven to lots of people that are still living in the past and that they wont accept what the world is like everybody that is now accepting what the real world is now understands that we are also humans at the end of the day like color doesnt always define the past history of others it also defines what a real human really is from the inside and outside like honestly bruh i just wish the real world can just look differently in terms of the good side of things rather than the bad side of things
It honestly does apply to all races I chose to speak on black people because I am one myself and these are just how I interpreted my personal experiences but I understand what you're trying to say and it's honestly sad that we can't live in a world where everyone is treated with mutual respect
yeah, ik that black people have suffered a lot awhile from s** and to this day it also applies to why also the poverty system their in also comes up a lot too because it involves alongside with the systemic racism thats happening for years and years its like i wish the government can do something to change these issues but knowing that'll happen its like they never care for the people whatsoever. I did mention about how the real world we always tend to repeat history and that we can never move forward as a humanity perspective i just wish that one day when we do be gone in this world i wish the world can also live in true harmony without any wars, corruption, bad poverty, and no more racism. But ideally humans in general will never ever listen to each one another.
Honestly bruh despite all the arrogance, ignorance, egos etc around the world. We need a Change more than ever, plus have u seen the economy everything is also expensive (non-related topic)

I think the reason why history keeps repeating itself is because the school system constantly waters down the atrocities African American people had to face for over 100 years. They will make it sound like it wasn't that bad when people were eaten, tortured, and dehumanized for centuries and the reason why it ended wasn't because people decided it was bad but because it became illegal to partake in those acts so they found alternative ways to express their racism
And this goes for every race as well especially with how native American history seems to be brushed under the rug as well

Honestly, they’re just born and raised in racist environments. The best thing you can do for yourself is to stop looking for their approval or recognition, you’ll never get it and it shouldn’t matter anyways. Especially considering that within the black community there’s already so many issues such as colorism that need to be addressed more.
Yeah that also plays a major role in how poc are perceived, history is thought in an European/white lens. They try to implicitly justify their atrocities by saying stuff like other nations weren’t advanced enough. But they were just different than theirs. Their egos were so bad that they needed everyone to be like them.
