Yup, most of the time it is these devils that break up relationships...
We put our partner on a pedestal and expect too much from them forgetting they are humans too then we get disappointed when our expectations are not met..
"Always high expectations lead to disappointment"
Then what haha we compare our partner with others lol...
Result- Relationship ends!!

Have standards and boundaries but don't expecting the other person to be perfect like a romance movie,anime lol
Idk, personally, my relationships end because I have self respect and standards. Communication, respect, and fulfilling emotional needs/love languages are basic in a relationship. These are valid expectations

Standards that are unhealthy are being created from social media basis- makes people expect too highly from their partners because they think these fake people are somehow living happily lol...
There are some standards but they're not high standards. There's no expectations either. Having high standards and expectations will get you nowhere. At least that's what I think

Basic standards and basic expectations is okay but high standards and high expectations is not okay
What expectations do y'all consider high?
For both men and women it is different- one example would be..
For men- they expect their woman to be really supportive, super caring ,make him feel like he is the "man" of the house lol.
Reality- women will not put up with stupid things men do, they will compare him with other men.
If there is an argument, the man would not win most of the time haha.
For women- they expect their man to be really understanding, knowing what women want without even saying anything, they also want their man to understand the hidden meanings behind their sentences(which is really difficult for men- when you say something they believe it, they don't want to guess the hidden meaning of beating around the bush sentences lol)
Also the media has given the wrong message about what love is(like it is a sparkly thing and fantasy like but I'm reality some days can be dry as a desert and also you are not going to feel like putting up with your partner sometimes haha
Societal conditioning has led to most ppl thinking that both men and women r so diff when they're actually more similar compared to what common beliefs think

Yup overall some things they do desire in common, does not mean they can be termed similar enough...
Because if both were similar there would be no problem in relationships now right??
Both of them would know what the other person wants and it would be a happy ending...alas it is not that way...Men often times say that women are mystery lol and women often times say the opposite of what they desire.
We go around in circles to end up in the beginning again.
Cos of how society makes them have certain standards and ways of thinking, humans r always problematic and like complicating things in order to make it harder for everyone and these standards don't come from any natural standpoint
