Summary
FriendZone | Make Friends ⋅ Fun Chill Active Chat ⋅ VC Social Gaming ⋅ Memes ⋅ Nitro Emojis ⋅ Anime hosts a deep discussion on the merits of being blunt versus polite. The community explores whether radical honesty hinders relationships or fosters personal growth, and if it is possible to be both truthful and kind. This announcement highlights the importance of authenticity and staying true to oneself in social environments.
Being too polite will slow down your personal growth. In contrast, honest and constructive criticism is the highest form of respect.
Personally, I wouldn't use the word "better" to describe the relationship of being blunt and being polite. Because, yes being blunt means you aren't oppressing yourself to mask the truth for other peoples ego. But, it also ruins many relationships(or friendships) and ruins how other people view themselves; thats why many prefer being "polite" and hide their opinions instead of being blunt and saying it out loud. Overall, I think both of them have equal pros and cons and it really depends on the person and their social environment.
Tbh being normal is better
And not putting a show
Wait how do you know if your being normal?
Well you got a point
yess..be selfish
unironically
Well ur not having a mask
And pretending to be different
From what u are
Being blunt and being stubborn r both great traits to have, stick to ur points and just be clear with them
Ok not always but if ppl aren't trying to understand ur point of view then it's better to do that
wait tf, cant you be polite and truthful at the same time? ion gotta choose js one
