everyone has 2 buttons infront of them 1 red meaning if you click it you wont die but everyone who presses blue will and if you click blue and 50% or more people click it everyone survives

For a very simple reason
It is YOUR DUTY to do everything that is in YOUR power to survive.
If you press red, you are safe from every other outcome
If you press blue, you hand your own survival to people that don't care about you nor your survival and that will press red without a thought, letting you die.
To make a similar example
You enter a lion cage
Do you enter inside hoping the lion is full and won't eat you (blue button)?
Or do you wait until the lion is asleep to enter inside (red button)?

It's better if u focus on ur own self-preservation and urge others to do the same by picking the red, if everyone picked the red then they would still all survive
