books are better than the internet because they actually make you slow down and pay attention. when you read a book, you’re not getting pulled in ten different directions or bombarded with noise—you’re just there, focused, thinking, and actually taking something in. the internet is fast and convenient, but it’s also overwhelming and shallow most of the time. you scroll, you forget, and nothing really sticks. books feel more real. they give you space to think, to imagine, and to actually connect with what you’re reading, instead of just skimming past it and moving on.
