I didn't follow him too close to know all his veiws on things. But you know what he had that no one else showed? Patience. He always gave the chance to speak to those that hated him. He always tried to keep discussion out, and instead always tried to find a point where he could agree with the person that he was speaking to. He would just sit down and say "I think XYZ, I can tell you why I think that, and we can have a peaceful discussion not about who is right, but about how we can reach a point of agreement".
