Scenario: Two people apply to the same elite program.
- Same qualifications.
- Same interview scores.
- One gets in. One doesn't.
- Selection involved randomness (as many real-world filters do).
Question: Was the opportunity equal? Yes.
Question: Does the rejected person feel it was "fair"? Maybe not.
Question: Will they demand change? Possibly.
So it all comes down to personal pref
Variations in timing, ambition Nd risk tolerance
Or just plain old luck
Oh right, connections too.
Cheat on what?
You are complicated
Ok
Nooooooooooooooo
Idk how to reply
So I was thinking something yesterday. No hate on the movement
The whole feminism stuff
It is about equal opportunity Nd equality right
Every movement definitely has to come to it's goal
And what happens if they get there
When there is nothing like opportunity not being equal Nd inequality
Just raw life parameters
Like, connections decided who gets an opportunity
Etc,or money
Or just different levels of risk taking and ambition
Also I don't think this so call equality is even attainable
Cause there maybe be equal opportunity but that doesn't granted equal result
People who always have pref
And also even amongst same genders there is even inequality
All seem like a fairy tale to me
damn that was long lol
Ye
Oh shit
