hmmm well given the state of capitalism and how other franchises like Pokemon and Digimon operate. It's in their interests I suppose. Like can you imagine a Pokemon game not coming out?
I have to admit though their mobile game Duel Links has been running since 2017 and that sure is a long time.
You are kind of misunderstanding how the spin offs work but honestly Yugioh is not known for its story quality, its known for its characters and artstyle. Between you and me there is some serious quality control needed for some of these spinoffs, I've heard the recent one was pretty bad.

It won't hurt for things to be shorter and end more but selling toys is an opportunity for them.
It's kind of scary to know theres still merch coming out of series even after 15 yrs. I'm not complaining too much but the fan consumption is kind of.......especially nowadays.....like the production of it all & everything
