I have a small social circle irl. I've come online trying to broaden that circle a bit and make new friendships at this stage in my life. I seem to run in some recurring themes in my search for new friends.

Catfish. People who are completely lying through their teeth about who they are for one reason or another, maybe they are a real woman just playing another, or maybe they are an old man just doing it for fun. I have a bit of my own fun with them, as they are easy to spot and it's pretty fun dragging them along playing dumb. One of my longest ongoing convos on here is with someone who has no idea that i know they are living a complete lie, im just excited to see their reaction when the truth comes out lol

Scammers. These may or may not be catfish as well. They have no desire to talk, they just want money in some form or another, gift cards, cash app, Nitro, etc. Within minutes of a convo and they are hinting that they need something and dont have the money.

Content sellers. They only wanna talk if you are buying the goods they are selling, as if it is a privilege to be able to talk to them and you should pay for their time. These are seemingly innocent people who you think just want friends, only to find out 2 messages in they have their own private servers and want you to buy their content. Hey, i respect your grind, you do you, but why pay for something i can get for free at home or the internet lol
-
Ghosts. People that say their DMs are open and ask for friends but never respond for one reason or another. Nobody is obligated to respond, i just figure if you put a post looking for friends and dms open, you would want that?
-
Rude/dry people. The one word responses, the attitude responses, trying to get to know someone and they say "read my bio" lol nvm
Anyways, if you are someone who DOESN'T fit into these categories, and is looking for a long term online friend, Let me know, DMs are open for any cool ppl 👍
