If you are of asian descent then you are Asian, african American descent then you are african American, bith white and african American? Mixed. White heritage? White.
Well yes it doest as White people are still a global minority.
Welp, i never said i was right
🤷♂️
Yeah region would make more sense
I'm seeing u use this term when comparing to the Global Majority, which is all non-whites grouped together
Are we really gonna group 4 billion people together but be so specific abt African Americans
White peeps have been enslaved tho??
Depends on the place
What?
Any race can receive racism some more than others but still possible
Yes but the history of it doesn't go back as long as other races, TBF for some reason white people are viewed as superior, can be unconsciously or not but its real weird
And the reason why the slavery of another race is more spoken of than the whites is because of the exclusion despite a law against slavery being introduced, places like white only places were introduced bla bla blour
The point was with white people facing racism, not more or less thna others
would you prefer if I said Caucasian descent?
I already said i would prefer to put them into broader categories
Yes ur point is correct what more do u want
We aren't gonna lick ur feel and say sorry white alpha
Still isn't technically accurate but sure ig
Online it says they face it less frequently than other groups
How does this correlate?
Then why are you arguing?
You said 'more or less' or did u mean individually
Yes but I didnt say white people face it more. I said they face it. My argument isnt they face it more or less, its just that they do.
Actually it could be more racial prejudice than racism, since one is more of a power system
well white people have faced black people being in higher power than them
Yet does that fit into the racism system, anyone can hold higher power
Yes it does
By definition it is racist.
Can u give an example, I'm a bit confused
So white people have faced systemic racism from black people before. That would mean that black people have and still can be racist to white people on both levels.
No we just are
its factual
Majority of the time, the system is controlled by whites more than blacks
You could be referring to DEI since it's main purpose is for non-whites but even then, it's debated if it's actually racist
Now following what I said previously is that my argument isnt "white people have it worse" or "black people have it worse" I am saying we can experience racism as a whole.
No we still are
Global minorities
Hmm could be
we take up 10-17% of the worlds population
Maybe racial prejudice rather than racism itself
So why does the racist definition completely disprove your argument?
What? Racism is based on more grounds and is a system of power, black people are less likely to control that for example
Racism by defintion disproves you.
Racism: Racism is the belief, prejudice, or discrimination that one race or ethnic group is superior to another
Then again there's different types of racism
By this definition white people can fall into racism.
Now yes there is different types of racism however white people still fall under this category.
a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
Individual racism is happening even today.
Systemic racism has happened to white people throughout history.
Cultural racism is kind of all around the world and doesnt really follow race alone.
and that has still happened to white people.
